and not a sign cometh unto them of the signs of their lord but that therefore they have been backsliders .
और उन अजब हाल है कि उनके पास ख़ुदा की आयत में से जब कोई आयत आती तो बस ये लोग ज़रुर उससे मुंह फेर लेते थे

and not a sign cometh unto them of the signs of their lord , but they are ever backsliders therefrom .
और उनकी हालत ये है कि जब उनके परवरदिगार की निशानियों में से कोई निशानी उनके पास आयी तो ये लोग मुँह मोड़े बग़ैर कभी नहीं रहे

and there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the compassionate but they are wont to be there from backsliders .
और जब उनके पास कोई कोई नसीहत की बात ख़ुदा की तरफ से आयी तो ये लोग उससे मुँह फेरे बगैर नहीं रहे

hast thou not observed those vouchsafed a portion of the book called to the book of allah that it may judge between them ? then a party of them turn away and they are backsliders
क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जिन्हें ईश - ग्रंथ का एक हिस्सा प्रदान हुआ । उन्हें अल्लाह की किताब की ओर बुलाया जाता है कि वह उनके बीच निर्णय करे , फिर भी उनका एक गिरोह उपेक्षा करते हुए मुँह फेर लेता है ?

and had allah known in them any good he would surely have made them hearken ; and even if he made them hear , they would surely turn away as backsliders .
और अगर ख़ुदा उनमें नेकी देखता तो ज़रूर उनमें सुनने की क़ाबलियत अता करता मगर ये ऐसे हैं कि अगर उनमें सुनने की क़ाबिलयत भी देता तो मुँह फेर कर भागते ।

we created not the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in - between the twain save with truth , and for a term stated . and those who disbelieve are from that whereof they are warned backsliders .
हमने तो सारे आसमान व ज़मीन और जो कुछ इन दोनों के दरमियान है हिकमत ही से एक ख़ास वक्त तक के लिए ही पैदा किया है और कुफ्फ़ार जिन चीज़ों से डराए जाते हैं उन से मुँह फेर लेते हैं

and recall what time we took a bond with the children of israel saying : worship not any god save allah , and unto parents show kindness , and also unto the kindred and the orphans and the poor , and speak kindly unto mankind , and establish prayer and give the poor rate . then ye turned away , save a few of you , and ye are backsliders .
और जब हमने बनी ईसराइल से अहद व पैमान लिया था कि खुदा के सिवा किसी की इबादत न करना और माँ बाप और क़राबतदारों और यतीमों और मोहताजों के साथ अच्छे सुलूक करना और लोगों के साथ अच्छी तरह से बातें करना और बराबर नमाज़ पढ़ना और ज़कात देना फिर तुममें से थोड़े आदिमियों के सिवा फिर गए और तुम लोग हो ही इक़रार से मुँह फेरने वाले
