बारिश नहीं है अगर कोई जीवन है

but to live in fear of being an infidel is no life .
काफ़िर बन जाने से डर कर जीना भी कोई जिंदगी हैं ।

the heart that is devoid of the pangs of love is no heart .
जिस हृदय में प्रेम की पीड़ा - नहीं है , वह हृदय , हृदय ही नहीं है ।

it sees this world as the kingdom of evil or of ignorance and the eternal and divine either in a far - off heaven or beyond where there is no world and no life .
वह इस संसार को तो अशभ या अज्ञान का राज्य समझता है और सनातन एवं दिव्य सत्ता को या तो सुदूर स्वर्ग में या इस जगत् और जीवन से परे देखता है ।

वह कहते हैं कि शरीर के जिन अंगों से हिर की सेवा संपन्न नहीं होती , वे अंग ही नहीं और जो जीवन हरि के चिंतन से शून्य है , वह जीवन ही नहीं है ।

they say : “ there is no life other than our present worldly life : herein we live and we die , and it is only time that destroys us . yet the fact is that they know nothing about this and are only conjecturing .
और वह लोग कहते हैं कि हमारी ज़िन्दगी तो बस दुनिया ही की है मरते हैं और जीते हैं और हमको बस ज़माना ही मारता है और उनको इसकी कुछ ख़बर तो है नहीं ये लोग तो बस अटकल की बातें करते हैं

when you are among the believers and lead them in prayer , let only part of them stand up along with you , armed with their weapons . after they have prostrated themselves , let them withdraw to the rear to stand guard and then let another party , who have not yet prayed , come forward and pray with you . and let them also be on their guard , armed with their weapons . those who deny the truth want you to be negligent of your arms and your baggage , so that they may fall upon you suddenly . it is no offence for you to lay aside your arms when overtaken by heavy rain or illness , and always take every precaution for defence . god has prepared a humiliating punishment for those who deny the truth .
और जब तुम उनके बीच हो और उन्हें नमाज़ पढ़ाने के लिए खड़े हो , जो चाहिए कि उनमें से एक गिरोह के लोग तुम्हारे साथ खड़े हो जाएँ और अपने हथियार साथ लिए रहें , और फिर जब वे सजदा कर लें तो उन्हें चाहिए कि वे हटकर तुम्हारे पीछे हो जाएँ और दूसरे गिरोंह के लोग , जिन्होंने अभी नमाज़ नही पढ़ी , आएँ और तुम्हारे साथ नमाज़ पढ़े , और उन्हें भी चाहिए कि वे भी अपने बचाव के सामान और हथियार लिए रहें । विधर्मी चाहते ही है कि वे भी अपने हथियारों और सामान से असावधान हो जाओ तो वे तुम पर एक साथ टूट पड़े । यदि वर्षा के कारण तुम्हें तकलीफ़ होती हो या तुम बीमार हो , तो तुम्हारे लिए कोई गुनाह नहीं कि अपने हथियार रख दो , फिर भी अपनी सुरक्षा का सामान लिए रहो । अल्लाह ने विधर्मियों के लिए अपमानजनक यातना तैयार कर रखी है
