ऐसी कंजूसी दिखाकर आप यहाँ से भाग नहीं सकते ।

who are neither prodigal nor miserly in their spending but follow a middle path ;
और वह लोग कि जब खर्च करते हैं तो न फुज़ूल ख़र्ची करते हैं और न तंगी करते हैं और उनका ख़र्च उसके दरमेयान औसत दर्जे का रहता है

be neither miserly , nor so open - handed that you suffer reproach and become destitute .
और अपने हाथ को न तो गर्दन से बँधा हुआ कर लो और न बिल्कुल खोल दो कि सब कुछ दे डालो और आख़िर तुम को मलामत ज़दा हसरत से बैठना पड़े

who , when they spend , are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two :
और वह लोग कि जब खर्च करते हैं तो न फुज़ूल ख़र्ची करते हैं और न तंगी करते हैं और उनका ख़र्च उसके दरमेयान औसत दर्जे का रहता है

she said that , long , long ago , the gold belonged to a very miserly king who never spent a penny .
उन्होंने कहा था कि , बहुत समय पहले यह सोना एक ऐसे कंजूस राजा का था , जो कभी एक पाई भी खर्च नहीं करता था ।

and those who , when spending , neither exceed the limits nor act miserly , and stay in moderation between the two .
और वह लोग कि जब खर्च करते हैं तो न फुज़ूल ख़र्ची करते हैं और न तंगी करते हैं और उनका ख़र्च उसके दरमेयान औसत दर्जे का रहता है

he continued teasing me later on the girl who was proud of her thirty six shirts was so miserly that she got me cloth for incomplete half shirts only .
मुझे बाद में कई बार जगजीत जी मजाक करते रह , अपनी छत्तीस कमीजों का अभिमान करने वाली कंजूस लड़की ने मुझे अधूरी कमीज़ों का कपड़ा लेकर दिया ।

who are miserly and bid others to be so , and hide what god has given them in his largesse . we have prepared for unbelievers a shameful punishment .
ये वह लोग हैं जो ख़ुद तो बुख्ल करते ही हैं और लोगों को भी बुख्ल का हुक्म देते हैं और जो माल ख़ुदा ने अपने फ़ज़ल व से उन्हें दिया है उसे छिपाते हैं और हमने तो कुफ़राने नेअमत करने वालों के वास्ते सख्त ज़िल्लत का अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है

those who are miserly and enjoin miserliness on other men and hide what allah has bestowed upon them of his bounties . and we have prepared for the disbelievers a disgraceful torment .
ये वह लोग हैं जो ख़ुद तो बुख्ल करते ही हैं और लोगों को भी बुख्ल का हुक्म देते हैं और जो माल ख़ुदा ने अपने फ़ज़ल व से उन्हें दिया है उसे छिपाते हैं और हमने तो कुफ़राने नेअमत करने वालों के वास्ते सख्त ज़िल्लत का अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है

who are miserly and enjoin others to be the same and conceal the riches which god has given them of his bounty . we have prepared a humiliating punishment for those who deny the truth .
ये वह लोग हैं जो ख़ुद तो बुख्ल करते ही हैं और लोगों को भी बुख्ल का हुक्म देते हैं और जो माल ख़ुदा ने अपने फ़ज़ल व से उन्हें दिया है उसे छिपाते हैं और हमने तो कुफ़राने नेअमत करने वालों के वास्ते सख्त ज़िल्लत का अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है

say thou : if it were ye who owned the treasures of the mercy of my lord , ye would surely refrain for fear of expending ; and man is ever miserly .
इनसे कहो कि अगर मेरे परवरदिगार के रहमत के ख़ज़ाने भी तुम्हारे एख़तियार में होते तो भी तुम खर्च हो जाने के डर से बन्द रखते और आदमी बड़ा ही तंग दिल है

nor those who , being miserly themselves , urge others to be miserly . he who turns his back should remember that god alone is self - sufficient and worthy of all praise .
जो ख़ुद भी बुख्ल करते हैं और दूसरे लोगों को भी बुख्ल करना सिखाते हैं और जो शख़्श रूगरदानी करे तो ख़ुदा भी बेपरवा सज़ावारे हम्दोसना है

say : " if you possessed the treasure of the mercy of my lord , then you would surely hold back for fear of , and man is ever miserly ! "
कहो , " यदि कहीं मेरे रब की दयालुता के ख़ज़ाने तुम्हारे अधिकार में होते हो ख़र्च हो जाने के भय से तुम रोके ही रखते । वास्तव में इनसान तो दिल का बड़ा ही तंग है

and never must those who act miserly upon what allah has bestowed upon them of his grace , think that it is good for them ; in fact it is harmful for them ; soon what they had withheld will be collars round their necks on the day of resurrection ; and allah only is the inheritor of the heavens and the earth ; and allah is well aware of what you do .
और जिन लोगों को ख़ुदा ने अपने फ़ज़ल से कुछ दिया है बुख्ल करते हैं वह हरगिज़ इस ख्याल में न रहें कि ये उनके लिए बेहतर होगा बल्कि ये उनके हक़ में बदतर है क्योंकि जिस का बुख्ल करते हैं अनक़रीब ही क़यामत के दिन उसका तौक़ बनाकर उनके गले में पहनाया जाएगा और सारे आसमान व ज़मीन की मीरास ख़ुदा ही की है और जो कुछ तुम करते हो ख़ुदा उससे ख़बरदार है
