ऐ ईमान लानेवालो ! मारे जानेवालों के विषय में हत्यादंड तुमपर अनिवार्य किया गया , स्वतंत्र - स्वतंत्र बराबर है और ग़़ुलाम - ग़ुलाम बराबर है और औरत - औरत बराबर है । फिर यदि किसी को उसके भाई की ओर से कुछ छूट मिल जाए तो सामान्य रीति का पालन करना चाहिए ; और भले तरीके से उसे अदा करना चाहिए । यह तुम्हारें रब की ओर से एक छूट और दयालुता है । फिर इसके बाद भो जो ज़्यादती करे तो उसके लिए दुखद यातना है
