फिर तुम ने यह दूसरा काम किया है कि तुम ने यहोवा की वेदी को रोनेवालों और आहें भरनेवालों के आंसुओं से भिगो दिया है, यहां तक कि वह तुम्हारी भेंट की ओर दृष्टि तक नहीं करता, और न प्रसन्न होकर उसको तुम्हारे हाथ से ग्रहण करता है। तुम पूछते हो, ऐसा क्यों?

पर , क्योंकि मनोमय पुरुष विज्ञान को एक ऐसे ढंग से ग्रहण कर सकता है जिससे कि प्राणमय और अन्नमय पुरुष ग्रहण नहीं कर सकते और क्योंकि वह इसे ज्ञान के साथ - मानसिक प्रतिक्रिया करनेवाले सीमित ज्ञान के साथ ही सही - स्वीकार कर सकता है , वह अपने बाह्य कर्म को कुछ अंश में इसकी ज्योति के द्वारा परिचालित कर सकता है अथवा यदि इतना नहीं तो कम - से - कम अपने संकल्प और विचारों को इससे आप्लावित करके शुद्ध अवश्य कर सकता है ।
