तो मुझे उन सितारों की क़सम जो चलते चलते पीछे हट जाते

would you rather i let the noose just snap your neck off?
आप बल्कि मैं फंदा सिर्फ अपनी गर्दन बंद तस्वीर देना चाहेंगे?

rather , i take it to be an occasion for me to felicitate you .
लेकिन मैं इसे आप लोगों को सम्मान देने के एक मौके के रूप मे देखता हूं ।

i say "you're the woman i prayed for ".....rather i will say....
बल्कि मैं कहूंगा कि मेरे बारे में पूरी तरह से सोचो।

he said : ah ! that i had power to suppress you , rather i shall have recourse to a strong support .
लूत ने कहा काश मुझमें तुम्हारे मुक़ाबले की कूवत होती या मै किसी मज़बूत क़िले मे पनाह ले सकता

he said , ‘o my people , i am not in error . rather , i am an apostle from the lord of all the worlds .
तब नूह ने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम मुझ में गुमराही तो कुछ नहीं बल्कि मैं तो परवरदिगारे आलम की तरफ से रसूल हूँ

he said : ' o my people ! there is no folly in me ; rather i am a messenger from the lord of the universe .
हूद ने कहा ऐ मेरी क़ौम मुझमें में तो हिमाक़त की कोई बात नहीं बल्कि मैं तो परवरदिगार आलम का रसूल हूँ

say , " o people , if you are in doubt concerning my religion , then i do not worship those whom you worship instead of god , but rather i worship god who will cause you to die , for i am commanded to be one of the believers . "
कह दो , " ऐ लोगों ! यदि तुम मेरे धर्म के विषय में किसी सन्देह में हो तो मैं तो उनकी बन्दगी नहीं करता जिनकी तुम अल्लाह से हटकर बन्दगी करते हो , बल्कि मैं उस अल्लाह की बन्दगी करता हूँ जो तुम्हें मृत्यु देता है । और मुझे आदेश है कि मैं ईमानवालों में से होऊँ
