वह एक गीत नहीं गाता है

so do not obey the deniers .
अतः तुम झुठलानेवालों को कहना न मानना

and do not obey any vile swearer ,
तुम किसी भी ऐसे व्यक्ति की बात न मानना जो बहुत क़समें खानेवाला , हीन है ,

and do not obey every mean swearer ,
और तुम ऐसे के कहने में न आना जो बहुत क़समें खाता ज़लील औक़ात ऐबजू

do not obey the order of the wasteful ,
और ज्यादती करने वालों का कहा न मानों

and do not obey every worthless habitual swearer
और तुम ऐसे के कहने में न आना जो बहुत क़समें खाता ज़लील औक़ात ऐबजू

so do not obey the unbelievers , but struggle mightily with it .
अतः इनकार करनेवालों की बात न मानता और इस के द्वारा उनसे जिहाद करो , बड़ा जिहाद !

do not obey the bidding of those who are given to excesses ,
और ज्यादती करने वालों का कहा न मानों

so do not obey the faithless , but wage a great jihad against them with it .
अतः इनकार करनेवालों की बात न मानता और इस के द्वारा उनसे जिहाद करो , बड़ा जिहाद !

no indeed ! do not obey him , but prostrate yourself and come closer to god .
और सजदे करते रहो और कुर्ब हासिल करो

but unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
पर जो विवादी हैं, और सत्य को नहीं मानते, बरन अधर्म को मानते हैं, उन पर क्रोध और कोप पड़ेगा।

o prophet ! fear god , and do not obey the unbelievers and the hypocrites . god is knowledgeable and wise .
ऐ नबी खुदा ही से डरते रहो और काफिरों और मुनाफिक़ों की बात न मानो इसमें शक नहीं कि खुदा बड़ा वाक़िफकार हकीम है ।
