तब अब्राम मुंह के बल गिरा : और परमेश्वर उस से यों बातें कहता गया,

and god went up from him in the place where he talked with him.
तब परमेश्वर उस स्थान में, जहां उस ने याकूब से बातें की, उनके पास से ऊपर चढ़ गया।

and abram fell on his face: and god talked with him, saying,
तब अब्राम मुंह के बल गिरा : और परमेश्वर उस से यों बातें कहता गया,

and as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.
परन्तु पतरस ने उसे उठाकर कहा, खड़ा हो, मैं भी तो मनुष्य हूं।

and, behold, there talked with him two men, which were moses and elias:
और देखो, मूसा और एलिरयाह, ये दो पुरूष उसके साथ बातें कर रहे थे।

moreover he kissed all his brethren, and wept upon them: and after that his brethren talked with him.
तब वह अपने सब भाइयों को चूमकर उन से मिलकर रोया : और इसके पश्चात् उसके भाई उस से बातें करने लगे।।

उसे पौलुस से कुछ रूपये मिलने की भी आस थी; इसलिये और भी बुला बुलाकर उस से बातें किया करता था।

वह तो बहुत भारी दल, और मसालों, और बहुत सोने, और मणि से लदे ऊंट साथ लिये हुए यरूशलेम को आई; और सुलैमान के पास पहुंचकर अपने मन की सब बातों के विषय में उस से बातें करने लगी।

and it came to pass, when moses came down from mount sinai with the two tables of testimony in moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
जब मूसा साक्षी की दोनों तख्तियां हाथ में लिये हुए सीनै पर्वत से उतरा आता था तब यहोवा के साथ बातें करने के कारण उसके चेहरे से किरणें निकल रही थी।, परन्तु वह यह नहीं जानता था कि उसके चेहरे से किरणें निकल रही हैं।

and the king said : bring him unto me that i may attach him to my person . and when he had talked with him he said : lo ! thou art to - day in our presence established and trusted .
इसमें शक़ नहीं कि मेरा परवरदिगार बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है और बादशाह ने हुक्म दिया कि यूसुफ को मेरे पास ले आओ तो मैं उनको अपने ज़ाती काम के लिए ख़ास कर लूंगा फिर उसने यूसुफ से बातें की तो यूसुफ की आला क़ाबलियत साबित हुई उसने हुक्म दिया कि तुम आज हमारे सरकार में यक़ीन बावक़ार मुअतबर हो

when the queen of sheba heard of the fame of solomon, she came to prove solomon with hard questions at jerusalem, with a very great train, and camels that bore spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she had come to solomon, she talked with him of all that was in her heart.
जब शीबा की रानी ने सुलैमान की कीर्त्ति सुनी, तब वह कठिन कठिन प्रश्नों से उसकी परीक्षा करने के लिये यरूशलेम को चली । वह बहुत भारी दल और मसालों और बहुत सोने और मणि से लदे ऊंट साथ लिये हुए आई, और सुलैमान के पास पहुंचकर उससे अपने मन की सब बातों के विषय बातें कीं।

and it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, art thou made of the king's counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? then the prophet forbare, and said, i know that god hath determined to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel.
वह उस से कह ही रहा था कि उस ने उस से पूछा, क्या हम ने तुझे राजमन्त्री ठहरा दिया है? चुप रह ! क्या तू मार खाना चाहता है? तब वह नबी यह कहकर चुप हो गया, कि मुझे मालूम है कि परमेश्वर ने तुझे नाश करने को ठाना है, क्योंकि तू ने ऐसा किया है और मेरी सम्मति नहीं मानी।
