यह अवतरण है बड़े कृपाशील, अत्यन्त दयावान की ओर से,

सबसे बड़ा हितैषी अल्लाह के नाम सेa

in the name of allah the most beneficient and merciful
अल्लाह के नाम पर कल्याणकारी और दयालु

our lord is the only lord . there is no god but he , the beneficent and merciful .
और न उनको अज़ाब से मोहलत दी जाएगी और तुम्हारा माबूद तो वही यकता ख़ुदा है उस के सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं जो बड़ा मेहरबान रहम वाला है

that they ascribe a son to the most beneficent .
इस बात से कि उन लोगों ने खुदा के लिए बेटा क़रार दिया

that they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the most beneficent (allah).
इस बात पर कि उन्होंने रहमान के लिए बेटा होने का दावा किया!

but it is not suitable for the most beneficent that he should beget a son .
हालाँकि खुदा के लिए ये किसी तरह शायाँ ही नहीं कि वह बेटा बना ले

the day we shall gather the muttaqun unto the most beneficent , like a delegate .
कि जिस दिन परहेज़गारों को रहमान के सामने मेहमानों की तरह तरह जमा करेंगे

has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the most beneficent ?
क्या उसे ग़ैब का हाल मालूम हो गया है या उसने खुदा से कोई अहद ले रखा है हरग़िज नहीं

the sovereignty on that day will be the true , belonging to the most beneficent , and it will be a hard day for the disbelievers .
उसे दिन की सल्तनल ख़ास ख़ुदा ही के लिए होगी और वह दिन काफिरों पर बड़ा सख्त होगा

he is allah , than whom there is la ilaha illa huwa the all - knower of the unseen and the seen . he is the most beneficent , the most merciful .
वही अल्लाह है जिसके सिवा कोई पूज्य - प्रभु नहीं , परोक्ष और प्रत्यक्ष को जानता है । वह बड़ा कृपाशील , अत्यन्त दयावान है

and never comes there unto them a reminder as a recent revelation from the most beneficent , but they turn away therefrom .
उनके पास रहमान की ओर से जो नवीन अनुस्मृति भी आती है , वे उससे मुँह फेर ही लेते है

' adn paradise , which the most beneficent has promised to his slaves in the unseen : verily ! his promise must come to pass .
अदन के बाग़ जिनका रहमान ने अपने बन्दों से परोक्ष में होते हुए वादा किया है । निश्चय ही उसके वादे पर उपस्थित हाना है । -

and ask those of our messengers whom we sent before you : " did we ever appoint aliha to be worshipped besides the most beneficent ? "
और हमने तुमसे पहले अपने जितने पैग़म्बर भेजे हैं उन सब से दरियाफ्त कर देखो क्या हमने ख़ुदा कि सिवा और माबूद बनाएा थे कि उनकी इबादत की जाए

"o my father! worship not shaitan (satan). verily! shaitan (satan) has been a rebel against the most beneficent (allah).
ऐ अब्बा आप शैतान की परसतिश न कीजिए (क्योंकि) शैतान यक़ीनन खुदा का नाफ़रमान (बन्दा) है।
