बेशक इन्सान पर एक ऐसा वक्त अा चुका है कि वह कोई चीज़ क़ाबिले ज़िक्र न था

बेशक इन्सान पर एक ऐसा वक्त अा चुका है कि वह कोई चीज़ क़ाबिले ज़िक्र न था

and david said, what have i now done? is there not a cause?
दाऊद ने कहा, मैं ने अब क्या किया है, वह तो निरी बात थी?

there's not a day goes by i don't feel regret?
एक दिन नहीं जाता जब अफसोस न हो.

david said, "what have i now done? is there not a cause?"
दाऊद ने कहा, मैं ने अब क्या किया है, वह तो निरी बात थी?

but illness was there not alone ; acute poverty was also there .
लेकिन अकेली बीमारी ही तो पीछे नहीं थी , घोर ग़रीबी भी थी ।

oh there's not a thing i wouldn't do for my man.
ओह, वहाँ एक बात मैं अपने आदमी के लिए नहीं होगा नहीं है.

and there's not a day that goes by that i don't regret having said yes.
और से भी जाना जाता है कि एक दिन वहाँ नहीं है मैंने कहा हाँ होने का अफसोस नहीं है।

you know that there's not a person on this earth that's worth over a hundred million dollars that came by that money honestly?
आप इस धरती पर एक व्यक्ति वहाँ नहीं है कि पता कि एक अधिक मूल्य की है सौ मिलियन डॉलर कि से आया पैसा ईमानदारी है?

and they say , " what is this messenger that eats food and walks in the markets ? why was there not sent down to him an angel so he would be with him a warner ?
और उन लोगों ने कहा कि ये कैसा रसूल है जो खाना खाता है और बाज़ारों में चलता है फिरता है उसके पास कोई फरिश्ता क्यों नहीं नाज़िल होता कि वह भी उसके साथ डराने वाला होता

who does greater evil than he who lies against allah and belies the truth when it comes to him ? is there not a lodging in gehenna for the unbelievers ?
तो इससे बढ़कर ज़ालिम कौन होगा जो ख़ुदा पर झूठ बाँधे और जब उसके पास सच्ची बात आए तो उसको झुठला दे क्या जहन्नुम में कााफिरों का ठिकाना नहीं है

and who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against allah or denies the truth , when it comes to him ? is there not a dwelling in hell for disbelievers ?
और जो शख्स ख़ुदा पर झूठ बोहतान बॉधे या जब उसके पास कोई सच्ची बात आए तो झुठला दे इससे बढ़कर ज़ालिम कौन होगा क्या काफिरों का ठिकाना जहन्नुम में नहीं है

and who does greater evil that he who forges a lie against allah or belied the truth when it comes to him ! is there not a lodging in gehenna for the unbelievers ?
और जो शख्स ख़ुदा पर झूठ बोहतान बॉधे या जब उसके पास कोई सच्ची बात आए तो झुठला दे इससे बढ़कर ज़ालिम कौन होगा क्या काफिरों का ठिकाना जहन्नुम में नहीं है

and who is more unjust than one who fabricates lies against allah , or denies the truth * when it comes to him ? is there not a place in hell for disbelievers ? .
उस व्यक्ति से बढ़कर ज़ालिम कौन होगा जो अल्लाह पर थोपकर झूठ घड़े या सत्य को झुठलाए , जबकि वह उसके पास आ चुका हो ? क्या इनकार करनेवालों का ठौर - ठिकाना जहन्नम नें नहीं होगा ?

he feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, is there not a lie in my right hand?
वह राख खाता है; भरमाई हुई बुद्धि के कारण वह भटकाया गया है और वह न अपने को बचा सकता और न यह कह सकता है, क्या मेरे दहिने हाथ में मिथ्या नहीं?

indeed it is already clear to me from your letter that that recognition has caused you not a little embarrassment in dealing with the pressure which has been exerted on you from more than one quarter .
बेशक , आपके पत्र से मुझे यह स्पष्ट हो चुका है कि आपके इस ज्ञान और भान ने आपको उस दबाव का सामना करने में कम परेशान नहीं किया है , जो आप पर अनेक दिशाओं से डाला गया है ।

and wherefore was there not a town which should believe so that their belief should have profited them but the people of yunus ? when they believed , we removed from them the chastisement of disgrace in this world ' s life and we gave them provision till a time .
कोई बस्ती ऐसी क्यों न हुई कि ईमान क़ुबूल करती तो उसको उसका ईमान फायदे मन्द होता हाँ यूनूस की क़ौम जब ईमान लाई तो हमने दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी में उनसे रुसवाई का अज़ाब दफा कर दिया और हमने उन्हें एक ख़ास वक्त तक चैन करने दिया

and they say , " why was there not sent down to him an angel ? " but if we had sent down an angel , the matter would have been decided ; then they would not be reprieved .
उनका तो कहना है , " इस पर कोई फ़रिश्ता क्यों नहीं उतारा गया ? " हालाँकि यदि हम फ़रिश्ता उतारते तो फ़ैसला हो चुका होता । फिर उन्हें कोई मुहल्लत न मिलती

why then was there not a township which believed , so that its faith might have profited it , except the people of yunus ! when they believed , we removed from them the torment of humiliation in the life of the world , and we let them enjoy for a season .
कोई बस्ती ऐसी क्यों न हुई कि ईमान क़ुबूल करती तो उसको उसका ईमान फायदे मन्द होता हाँ यूनूस की क़ौम जब ईमान लाई तो हमने दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी में उनसे रुसवाई का अज़ाब दफा कर दिया और हमने उन्हें एक ख़ास वक्त तक चैन करने दिया
