हम पार्क में अपने मित्रों के साथ मटरगस्ती कर रहे थे

we were not unjust to them but they were unjust to themselves . the idols which they worshipped instead of god were of no help to them when our decree came to pass . the idols only brought about their destruction .
और हमने किसी तरह उन पर ज़ल्म नहीं किया बल्कि उन लोगों ने आप अपने ऊपर ज़ुल्म किया फिर जब तुम्हारे परवरदिगार का हुक्म आ पहुँचा तो न उसके वह माबूद ही काम आए जिन्हें ख़ुदा को छोड़कर पुकारा करते थें और न उन माबूदों ने हलाक करने के सिवा कुछ फायदा ही पहुँचाया बल्कि उन्हीं की परसतिश की बदौलत अज़ाब आया

when our might came upon them , their only cry was , “ we were indeed wrongdoers . ”
कि वह लोग या तो रात की नींद सो रहे थे या दिन को क़लीला कर रहे थे तब हमारा अज़ाब उन पर आ पड़ा तो उनसे सिवाए इसके और कुछ न कहते बन पड़ा कि हम बेशक ज़ालिम थे

yet their cry , when our punishment came to them , was nothing but that they said : surely we were unjust .
कि वह लोग या तो रात की नींद सो रहे थे या दिन को क़लीला कर रहे थे तब हमारा अज़ाब उन पर आ पड़ा तो उनसे सिवाए इसके और कुछ न कहते बन पड़ा कि हम बेशक ज़ालिम थे

therefore they uttered nothing when our punishment came to them , except that they said , “ indeed we were the unjust . ”
