and if he [i.e., the prophets] had forged this discourse and thereafter ascribed it to us,
만일 그가 하나님께 거역하 여 일부의 말씀을 위조하였다면

god does not forgive that compeers be ascribed to him, and absolves all else whatsoever he will. and he who associates compeers with god has indeed wandered far astray.
실로 하나님은 그분에 비유하는 자를 용서하지 아니하시니라 그러나 그외에는 원하는 자마다 용서를 하시나 하나님에 비유하는 자는 멀리서 방황 하니라

god does not forgive that compeers be ascribed to him, though he may forgive aught else if he please. and he who ascribes compeers to god is guilty of the gravest sin.
실로 하나님은 그분에 비유 하려 한 자를 용서치 아니하며 그외에는 그분의 뜻에 따라 용서를 베푸시나 하나님에 비유하려 하는자는 죄를 조성하는 것이라

so when they saw our punishment, they said, “we accept faith in the one allah, and reject those whom we ascribed with him.”
그들이 하나님의 징벌을 보 고 우리는 하나님이 홀로 계심을 믿나이다 그리고 우리가 숭배했던것들을 부정하나이다 라고 말하나

and they ascribed equals to allah to mislead from his way; say, “enjoy a while, for your end will be the fire.”
그들은 하나님에 대적할 우 상을 세워 백성을 그분의 길에서 벗어나게 하니 일러가로되 만끽하라 실로 그들의 목적지는 불지옥 이 되리라

say, "journey through the land, and see how those before you met their end -- most of them, ascribed partners with god."
일러가로되 지상을 여행하여그대 이전 사람들의 말로가 어떠 했는가를 보라 그들 대다수는 하 나님 아닌 다른 것들을 숭배하였 노라

but when he gave unto them aright, they ascribed unto him partners in respect of that which he had given them. high is he exalted above all that they associate (with him).
하나님께서 그들에게 착한 아이를 주셨더라 그러나 그들은 그분이 주신 은혜에 우상을 섬기 더라 그러나 하나님은 그들이 섬 기는 우상 위에 높이 계심이라

and out of sheer ignorance they have ascribed jinns as partners of allah, whereas it is he who created them, and they have invented sons and daughters for him! purity and supremacy is to him, from all what they ascribe.
그런데도 그들은 하나님께서 창조한 영마를 그분께 비유하 여 거역하고 있으며 그들은 또한 무지하여 하나님께 아들과 딸들이있다고 하더라 그분께서 영광을 홀로 받으소서 그분은 그들이 묘 사하는 것과 전혀 다른 고귀한 분 이시라

(it is said unto them): this is (your plight) because, when allah only was invoked, ye disbelieved, but when some partner was ascribed to him ye were believing. but the command belongeth only to allah, the sublime, the majestic.
그것은 하나님을 유일신으로경배하라고 했을 때 너희가 믿음 을 거역하고 그분과 함께 우상을 섬긴 것 때문이라 실로 심판은 가 장 위에 계시고 가장 훌륭하신 하 나님이 하시니라
