he calleth, beside allah, unto that which hurteth him not nor benefiteth him. that is the far error.
그를 해치지도 아니하고 유 용하게도 하지 못하는 하나님 아 닌 다른 것을 숭배하니 그것은 커다란 방황이라

he sendeth down water from the heaven, so that the valleys flow according to their measure; then the torrent beareth the scum on top, and from that over which they kindle a fire seeking ornament or goods- ariseth a scum like thereto: thus doth allah propound the truth and falsity. then as for the scum, it departeth as rubbish, and as for that which benefiteth the mankind, it lasteth on the earth: thus doth allah propound the similitudes.
그분이 하늘에서 비를 내리 게 하사 그 양에 따라 계곡의 물 이 흐르게 하시더라 그러나 급류 는 부풀어 오르는 거품을 동반함 이라 또한 장식품이나 용구를 만들목적으로 불에 녹이는 금속에서도 거품을 동반케 하시매 이렇게 하여하나님은 진리와 허위를 비유하고 자 하심이라 그런 후 그 거품은 쓸모없이 사라지고 사람에게 유익한 것은 땅에 머물러 있노라 하나님은이렇게 비유하셨느니라
