and assuredly we covenanted with adam aforetime, then he forgat, and we found not in him steadiness.
سوێند به‌خوا بێگومان ئێمه پێشتر په‌یمانمان له ئاده‌م وه‌رگرت (که نزیکی دره‌ختی قه‌ده‌غه کراو نه‌که‌وێت) که‌چی بیری چوو، به مه‌رجێک نه‌مانبینی پێشتر بڕیاری کردنی ئه‌و سه‌رپێچییه بدات.

and he produced for them a calf: a body with a low. then they said: this is your god and the god of musa, and that he forgat.
به‌و زێرو زیوه په‌یکه‌ری گوێره‌که‌یه‌کی بۆ دروست کردن (جارجار) بۆڕه‌یه‌کی ده‌کرد، (سامیری و بێ دینه‌کان بێ شه‌رمانه‌) وتیان: ئه‌مه خوای ئێوه و خوای موسایه‌، ئه‌و له بیری چووه و (به‌شوێنیدا ده‌گه‌رێت).

so taste ye the sequel, for as much as ye forgat the meeting of this your day, verily we have forgotten you. taste the torment abiding for that which ye have been working.
ده‌ی که‌واته بچێژن ماده‌م ئێوه ئه‌م ڕۆژه‌تان فه‌رامۆش کرد، ئێمه‌ش به‌ڕاستی ئێوه پشتگوێ ده‌خه‌ین، بچێژن ئێش و سزای نه‌بڕاوه‌، له سه‌رئه‌نجامی کارو کرده‌وه‌یه‌ك که ده‌تانکرد.

and it will be said: today shall forget you, even as ye forgat the meeting of this your day, and your abode will be the fire, and none ye will have as helpers.
پێیان ده‌وترێت: له‌مڕۆ به‌دواوه ئیتر ئێوه فه‌رامۆش ده‌که‌ین و پشت گوێتان ده‌خه‌ین، هه‌روه‌ك چۆن ئێوه بڕوا بوونتان به‌م ڕۆژه فه‌رامۆش کرد، شوێنی نیشته‌جێ و حه‌وانه‌وه‌شتان ناو ئاگری دۆزه‌خه‌، که‌سیشتان ده‌ست ناکه‌وێت پشتیوانی و پشتگیریتان لێ بکات.

they will say; hallowed be thou! it behoved us not that we should take beside thee any patron, but thou allovvedest them and their fathers enjoyment until they forgat the admonition, and they were a people doomed.
له وه‌ڵامدا ده‌ڵێن: خوایه، پاکی و بێگه‌ردی بۆ تۆیه، هه‌رگیز ڕه‌وا نیه ئێمه جگه له تۆ که‌سێک، یان شتێکی تر بپه‌رستین یان بیکه‌ینه پشتیوان و یاوه‌ری خۆمان، به‌ڵام تۆ نازو نیعمه‌تت به‌و خه‌ڵکه گومڕاییه و باوو باپیرانیان به‌خشی بوو، ئیتر هه‌موو یاداوه‌ری و یاد خستنه‌وه‌کانیان فه‌رامۆش کرد و بوونه قه‌ومێکی بێ خێر و تیاچوو.

o da-ud! verily we have appointed thee a vicegerent in the earth, so judge between mankind with truth, and follow not desire, lest it cause thee to err from the path of allah. verily those who err from the path of allah - unto them shall be a severe torment, for they forgat the day of reckoning.
ئه‌ی داود: به‌ڕاستی ئێمه تۆمان کردۆته جێنشین له‌م وڵاته‌دا، فه‌رمانڕه‌وایی له نێوان خه‌ڵکدا له‌سه‌ر بنچینه‌ی حه‌ق و ڕاستی ئه‌نجام بده‌، هه‌رگیز شوێنی ئاره‌زوو مه‌که‌وه‌، تا نه‌بێته هۆی گومڕاکردن و لادانت له ڕێبازی خوا، چونکه بێگومان ئه‌وانه‌ی له ڕێبازی خوا لاده‌ده‌ن، سزای به ئێش و پڕ ئازار بۆیان ئاماده‌یه‌، به‌هۆی فه‌رامۆشکردنی ڕۆژی لێپرسینه‌وه‌.
