هه‌روه‌ها ئه‌وانه‌ى که چاودێرى ئه‌مانه‌ت و په‌یمانه‌کانیان ده‌که‌ن (خیانه‌ت و فێڵ ناکه‌ن).

but when we lifted the punishment from them, behold, they would break their pledge.
جاهه‌ر که به‌ڵاو ناخۆشیمان له‌سه‌ر لابردن خێرا به‌ڵێن و په‌یمانه‌که‌یان هه‌ڵده‌وه‌شاند.

and every time they made a pledge some of them pushed it aside, and many of them do not believe.
ئه‌وه بۆ هه‌ر جارێك په‌یمانێكیان به‌ستبێت (له‌گه‌ڵ خواو پێغه‌مبه‌رو موسوڵماناندا) خێرا ده‌سته‌یه‌كیان په‌یمانه‌كه‌یان شكاندووه‌، به‌ڵكو زۆربه‌ی زۆریان باوه‌ڕ ناهێنن (ڕێزو قه‌دری په‌یمان و ئیمان ناگرن).

ئه‌و که‌سانه‌ن وه‌فا ده‌که‌ن و به‌ئه‌مه‌کن له به‌رامبه‌ر ئه‌و په‌یمانه‌وه که هه‌یانه له‌گه‌ڵ خوای په‌روه‌ردگارداو، ئه‌و په‌یمانه‌ش ناشکێن و به‌ڵێن هه‌ڵناوه‌شێننه‌وه‌....

how can you take it when you have been intimate with one another, and she has taken a solemn pledge from you?
جا چۆن دروسته ماره‌ییان لێوه‌ربگرنه‌وه‌، له‌کاتێکدا ئێوه چوونه‌ته لای یه‌کترو ژنانیش په‌یمان و به‌ڵێنێکی گه‌وره‌و گرنگیان لێ وه‌رگرتوون (له‌کاتی ماره‌کردنیاندا).

and whatever you spend or pledge to do, allah is aware of it; and the unjust do not have supporters.
هه‌رشتێکتان به‌خشی بێت یان هه‌ر نه‌زرو بڕیارێکتان دابێت، ئه‌وه خوا پێی ده‌زانێت و بۆ سته‌مکاران هیچ جۆره پشتیوانیه‌ک نیه (که بیانپارێزێ له تۆڵه‌ی خوا).

and how will you take it back whereas you have become unveiled before each other, and they have taken a strong pledge from you?
جا چۆن دروسته ماره‌ییان لێوه‌ربگرنه‌وه‌، له‌کاتێکدا ئێوه چوونه‌ته لای یه‌کترو ژنانیش په‌یمان و به‌ڵێنێکی گه‌وره‌و گرنگیان لێ وه‌رگرتوون (له‌کاتی ماره‌کردنیاندا).
