سوێند بێت به‌خوا به‌ڕاستی ئێمه شوێنکه‌وتوه‌کان و گه‌لی فیرعه‌ونمان گیرۆده‌ی چه‌ند ساڵێکی گرانی و نه‌هاتی و که‌م بو‌نه‌وه‌ی ڕزق و ڕۆزیی و به‌روبوومه‌کان کرد، بۆ ئه‌وه‌ی ئه‌وان دابچڵه‌کێن و په‌ند وه‌رگرن و بیربکه‌نه‌وه‌.

and indeed we punished the people of fir'aun (pharaoh) with years of drought and shortness of fruits (crops, etc.), that they might remember (take heed).
