but those who do not believe in the hereafter are swerving from the path.
به ڕاستی ئه‌وانه‌ی بڕوا ناهێنن به قیامه‌ت وێڵ و لاده‌رن له ڕێگه‌و ڕێبازی ڕاست.

but when allah had bestowed his bounty on them they became greedy and turned away, swerving aside.
جا کاتێک خوا له فه‌زڵ و به‌ره‌که‌تی خۆی پێیدان و به‌هره‌وه‌ری کردن، ئه‌وان ڕه‌زیلیان تێدا کردو پشتیان له به‌ڵێنه‌که‌یان کرد له‌کاتێکدا که ئه‌وان هه‌میشه له به‌ڵێن و په‌یمان پشت هه‌ڵکه‌رن.

nevertheless, when he gave them of his bounty they were niggardly of it, and turned away, swerving aside.
جا کاتێک خوا له فه‌زڵ و به‌ره‌که‌تی خۆی پێیدان و به‌هره‌وه‌ری کردن، ئه‌وان ڕه‌زیلیان تێدا کردو پشتیان له به‌ڵێنه‌که‌یان کرد له‌کاتێکدا که ئه‌وان هه‌میشه له به‌ڵێن و په‌یمان پشت هه‌ڵکه‌رن.

when they are called to god and his messenger that he may judge between them, lo, a party of them are swerving aside;
ئه‌وانه کاتێك بانگ ده‌کرێن بۆ لای به‌رنامه‌ی خواو پێغه‌مبه‌ره‌که‌ی تا فه‌رمانڕه‌وا بێت له نێوانیاندا، خێرا ده‌سته‌یه‌کیان پشت هه‌ڵده‌که‌ن و ناڕه‌زایی ده‌رده‌بڕن.

if god had known of any good in them he would have made them hear; and if he had made them hear, they would have turned away, swerving aside.
خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر خوا خێری تیادا به‌دی بکردنایه‌، ئه‌وه وای لێده‌کردن که حه‌ق و ڕاستی ببیستن، خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر حه‌قیشیان پێ ببیستنایه (که ئاماده‌نین بۆ وه‌رگرتنی) ئه‌وه هه‌ر پشت له به‌رنامه‌ی خوا ده‌که‌ن له‌کاتێکدا ئه‌وان هه‌میشه نه‌یارن.

have you not seen those who have received a portion of the book being called to the book of allah, that it might judge between them, and some turned away, swerving aside.
ئایا نابینی ئه‌و که‌سانه‌ی به‌شێک له کتێبی ئاسمانیان پێدراوه کاتێک بانگ ده‌کرێن بۆ لای کتێبی خوا (ته‌ورات) تا فه‌رمانڕه‌وایی بکات له نێوانیاندا، پاشان ده‌سته‌یه‌کیان پشت هه‌ڵده‌که‌ن و له کاتێکدا ئه‌وان سه‌رپێچیکه‌رن.

indeed, had allah known any good in them, he would have let them hear. but even if he had made them hear, they would have turned away, swerving aside.
خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر خوا خێری تیادا به‌دی بکردنایه‌، ئه‌وه وای لێده‌کردن که حه‌ق و ڕاستی ببیستن، خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر حه‌قیشیان پێ ببیستنایه (که ئاماده‌نین بۆ وه‌رگرتنی) ئه‌وه هه‌ر پشت له به‌رنامه‌ی خوا ده‌که‌ن له‌کاتێکدا ئه‌وان هه‌میشه نه‌یارن.

hast thou not regarded those who were given a portion of the book, being called to the book of god, that it might decide between them, and then a party of them turned away, swerving aside?
ئایا نابینی ئه‌و که‌سانه‌ی به‌شێک له کتێبی ئاسمانیان پێدراوه کاتێک بانگ ده‌کرێن بۆ لای کتێبی خوا (ته‌ورات) تا فه‌رمانڕه‌وایی بکات له نێوانیاندا، پاشان ده‌سته‌یه‌کیان پشت هه‌ڵده‌که‌ن و له کاتێکدا ئه‌وان سه‌رپێچیکه‌رن.

and when we took compact with the children of israel: 'you shall not serve any save god; and to be good to parents, and the near kinsman, and to orphans, and to the needy; and speak good to men, and perform the prayer, and pay the alms.' then you turned away, all but a few of you, swerving aside.
یادی ئه‌و نیعمه‌ته بكه‌نه‌وه كاتێك په‌یمانمان وه‌رگرت له‌نه‌وه‌ی ئیسرائیل كه‌جگه له‌خوا كه‌سی تر نه‌په‌رستن و له‌گه‌ڵ دایك و باوكدا چاكه‌كار بن، هه‌روه‌ها له‌گه‌ڵ خزمان و هه‌تیوان و هه‌ژارانیشداو گوفتاری چاك و جوان ڕوو به خه‌ڵكی بڵێن، هه‌روه‌ها نوێژه‌كانتان به‌چاكی ئه‌نجام بده‌ن و زه‌كاتیش بده‌ن، پاشان ئێوه (له‌جیاتی گوێڕایه‌ڵی) پشتتان تێكرد، جگه له‌كه‌مێكتان نه‌بێت، له‌كاتێكدا زۆربه‌تان (له‌و هه‌موو ئامۆژگارییه به‌سوودانه‌) ڕوو وه‌رده‌چه‌رخێنن و پشتی تێده‌كه‌ن.
