but he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
ⲪⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲐⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲢⲞ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ.

i am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ϮⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲒ ⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲘⲞⲒ.

i am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲠⲒⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ϢⲀϤϮ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲮⲨⲬⲎ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲈϤⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ.

and when the chief shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀϤϢⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚϨϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒϪⲰϪ ⲘⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀϬⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲬⲖⲞⲘ ⲚⲀⲐⲖⲰⲘ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲰⲞⲨ.

for ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the shepherd and bishop of your souls.
ⲚⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲈ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲤⲰⲢⲈⲘ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲦⲀⲤⲐⲞ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ϨⲀ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈⲠⲒⲤⲔⲞⲠⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲮⲨⲬⲎ.

now the god of peace, that brought again from the dead our lord jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲦⲈϮϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ ⲘⲠⲒⲚⲒϢϮ ⲘⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲆⲒⲀⲐⲎⲔⲎ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.

and jesus saith unto them, all ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, i will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲈⲢⲤⲔⲀⲚⲆⲀⲖⲒⲌⲈⲤⲐⲈ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲎⲒ ⲤⲤϦⲎⲞⲨⲦ ϪⲈ ϮⲚⲀϢⲀⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲈϪⲰⲢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ.

and other sheep i have, which are not of this fold: them also i must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲎⲒ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲔⲈⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲈϨⲀⲚⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲀⲒⲀⲨⲖⲎ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲈϨⲰϮ ⲈⲢⲞⲒ ⲈⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲔⲈⲬⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲈⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲦⲀⲤⲘⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲨⲞϨⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ ⲞⲨⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ.

and the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising god for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
