abraham was one of his followers.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލޭގެފާނުންގެ ގޮތަށް تبع ވެގެންވާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން إبراهيم ގެފާނުވެއެވެ.

and be kind to your believing followers.
مؤمن ންގެ ތެރެއިން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް تبع ވީ މީހުންނަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ފިޔަފުޅު ތިރިކުރައްވާށެވެ! (އެބަހީ: މަޑުމައިތިރިވެވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ!)

indeed abraham was among his followers,
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލޭގެފާނުންގެ ގޮތަށް تبع ވެގެންވާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން إبراهيم ގެފާނުވެއެވެ.

when we delivered him and his followers, all--
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނާއި، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ أهل ވެރި އެންމެން ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވިހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!

so when the apostles came to lut's followers,
އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަނބިކަނބަލުން މެނުވީއެވެ. ތިމަންމެން މިންވަރު ކޮށްފައިވަނީ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަނބުލޭގެއަކީ، عذاب ގެ ތެރެއަށް ދޫކުރައްވާފައިވާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ މީހެއް ކަމުގައެވެ.

then he went to his followers, walking away in haughtiness.
ދެން އޭނާގެ أهل ވެރިންގެ ގާތަށް ބޮޑާކަންމަތީ ހިނގަމުންދިޔައެވެ.

my lord! deliver me and my followers from what they do.
އަޅުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޮ! އެއުރެންކުރާ عمل ން މިއަޅާއާއި މިއަޅާގެ أهل ވެރިން ސަލާމަތް ކުރައްވާނދޭވެ!

and we delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނާއި، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ أهل ވެރިން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ހިތާމައިން (އެބަހީ: غرق ން) ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

surely he was (erstwhile) joyful among his followers.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އޭނާގެ أهل ވެރިންގެ ގާތުގައި އުފާވެރިވެގެންވާ މީހަކު ކަމުގައި (ދުނިޔޭގައި) އޭނާވިއެވެ.

and when they returned to their own followers they returned exulting.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ أهل ވެރިންގެގާތަށް އެނބުރިދާހިނދު، ހީނސަމާސާ ކުރަމުންދެއެވެ.

(some of) the followers of the bible believe in the quran.
މީގެކުރިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮތްދެއްވި މީހުން (އެބަހީ: توراة އާއި إنجيل ގެ أهل ވެރިންކުރެ إسلام ވި މީހުން) އެފޮތަށް (އެބަހީ: قرآن އަށް) إيمان ވެއެވެ.

that i shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together".
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެޔާއި އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން ކަލޭގެޔަށް تبع ވީ ބަޔަކާއި އެ އެންމެންއަޅުއްވައި ނަރަކަ ފުރުއްވާހުށީމެވެ.

but the followers of devils are led relentlessly into error by them. they never desist.
އަދި އެ شيطان ންގެ أخ ން، އެއުރެން މަގު ފުރެއްދުމުގެ ތެރޭގައި ދަމަހައްޓައެވެ. ދެން އެކަންތަކުގައި އެއުރެން ދުލެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

i call to allah with sure knowledge, i and my followers. exaltations be to allah!
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! މިއީ ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ މަގެވެ. ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނާއި، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް تبع ވި މީހުން، اللَّه ގެ ފަރާތަށް ގޮވައިލައްވަނީ، އަލިވެގެންވާ دليل އާއެކުގައެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ ހުސްطاهر ވަންތަކަމާއެވެ! އަދި شريك ކުރާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ނުވަމެވެ.

follow him who does not ask you for reward, and they are the followers of the right course;
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން، އެއްވެސް އުޖޫރައަކަށް ނޭދޭބަޔަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تبع ވާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެންނީ ތެދުމަގު ލިބިގެންވާ ބަޔެކެވެ.

and we did not send before you any but men to whom we sent revelation, so ask the followers of the reminder if you do not
ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކުރިންވެސް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް وحى އިއްވަވާ ފިރިހެނުން މެނުވީ، رسول ކަމާއިގެން ނުފޮނުއްވަމެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުދަންނަކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، علم ގެ أهل ވެރިންނާ سؤال ކުރާށެވެ!

and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations:
އަދި ފަހުން އަންނަނިވި أمّة ތަކުގެ މެދުގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ރިވެތި ثناء ލެހެއްޓެވީމެވެ.

and nuh, when he cried aforetime, so we answered him, and delivered him and his followers from the great calamity.
އަދި އޭގެކުރިން، نوح ގެފާނު (ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް) دعاء ކުރެއްވިހިނދު، ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް އިޖާބަދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ބޮޑުވެގެންވާނުރައްކަލުން އެކަލޭގެފާނާއި، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ أهل ވެރިން ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

o followers of the book! why do you disbelieve in the communications of allah while you witness (them)?
އޭ ފޮތުގެ أهل ވެރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އެއީ حق ކަން އެނގިތިބެ އެކަމަށް) ހެކިވާ حال، اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން كافر ވަނީ ކީއްވެގެން ހެއްޔެވެ؟

(the followers will say to their leaders): “you used to come to us from the right hand.”
(މަގުފުރެއްދި މީހުންނަށް) އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންގެ ކައިރިޔަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކަނާތްފަރާތުން އަންނަކަމުގައިވީމުއެވެ.
