bethinkest thou him who forbiddeth,
ހަމަކަށަވަރުންް، އެނބުރި ދިޔުންވަނީ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.

allah enjoineth justice and kindness, and giving to kinsfolk, and forbiddeth lewdness and abomination and wickedness. he exhorteth you in order that ye may take heed.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، عدل ވެރިވުމަށާއި، إحسان ތެރިވުމަށާއި، ގާތްތިމާގެ މީހުންނަށް ހެޔޮފޯރުވުމަށް اللَّه އަމުރުކުރައްވަތެވެ. އަދި ހުތުރުކަން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ފާފަތަކާއި، منكرات ތަކާއި، އަނިޔާވެރިވެ އުޅުން، އެކަލާނގެ ނަހީކުރައްވަތެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް، وعظ އިއްވަވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

allah forbiddeth you not that ye should deal benevolently and equitably with those who fought not against you on accouct of religion nor drave you out from your homes; verily allah loveth the equitable,
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ دين އާހުރެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ ހަނގުރާމަނުކުރާ، އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގޮވަތި ގެދޮރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބޭރުކޮށްނުލާ މީހުންނަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހެޔޮކޮށްހިތައި، އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް عدل ވެރިގޮތުގައި ކަންތައް ކުރުން، اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް މަނައެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، عدل ވެރިންދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެންވެތެވެ.

allah forbiddeth you not those who warred not against you on account of religion and drove you not out from your homes, that ye should show them kindness and deal justly with them. lo!
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ دين އާހުރެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ ހަނގުރާމަނުކުރާ، އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގޮވަތި ގެދޮރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބޭރުކޮށްނުލާ މީހުންނަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހެޔޮކޮށްހިތައި، އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް عدل ވެރިގޮތުގައި ކަންތައް ކުރުން، اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް މަނައެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، عدل ވެރިންދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެންވެތެވެ.

and who doth greater wrong than he who forbiddeth the approach to the sanctuaries of allah lest his name should be mentioned therein, and striveth for their ruin. as for such, it was never meant that they should enter them except in fear.
اللَّه ގެ މިސްކިތްތަކުގައި އެކަލާނގެ اسم ފުޅު ނަންގަތުން މަނާކޮށް، އަދި އެތަންތަން (ފަޅުކޮށް) خراب ކުރުމަށް މަސައްކަތްކޮށްފި މީހަކަށްވުރެ އަނިޔާވެރިކަންބޮޑީ ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއުރެން ބިރުންތިބޭ حال ގައި މެނުވީ، އެތަންތަނަށް ވަދެއުޅުމެއް އެއުރެންނަކަށް ނުވެއެވެ. ދުނިޔޭގައި އެއުރެންނަށްހުރީ ނިކަމެތިކަމެވެ. އަދި آخرة ގައި އެއުރެންނަށް ހުރީ ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ عذاب އެވެ.

allah forbiddeth you only those who warred against you on account of religion and have driven you out from your homes and helped to drive you out, that ye make friends of them. whosoever maketh friends of them - (all) such are wrong-doers.
اللَّه، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް މަނާކުރައްވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ دين އާހުރެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ ހަނގުރާމަކޮށް، އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގޮވަތިގެދޮރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނެރެލައި، އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބޭރުކޮށްލުމަށް ވާގިވެރިވާ މީހުންނާ އެކުވެރިކަން ބެހެއްޓުމެވެ. އެއުރެންނާ އެކުވެރިކަން ބަހައްޓާ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ، ހަމަ އަނިޔާވެރިންނެވެ.
