ބިރުވެރިކަމާއިގެން އެންމެންނަށް ކުރިމަތިވެގެންއަންނާނޭ ކަންތަކުގެ ވާހަކަ) އެބަހީ: قيامة ގެ ވާހަކަ (ކަލޭގެފާނާ ހަމަޔަށް އައިސްފައިވޭތޯއެވެ؟

hast thou received the story of the hosts,
އިރާދަކުރައްވާ ކޮންމެ ކަމެއް ކުރައްވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

hast thou received the story of the enveloper?
ބިރުވެރިކަމާއިގެން އެންމެންނަށް ކުރިމަތިވެގެންއަންނާނޭ ކަންތަކުގެ ވާހަކަ) އެބަހީ: قيامة ގެ ވާހަކަ (ކަލޭގެފާނާ ހަމަޔަށް އައިސްފައިވޭތޯއެވެ؟

not as payment for any favours that he received,
އެހެންމީހެއްގެ ފަރާތުން އޭނާޔަށް ލިބޭނެ ހެޔޮކަމެއްގެ ބަދަލުގައެއް ނޫނެވެ.

you have received the koran from the wise, the knower.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް قرآن އުނގަންނައިދެއްވަނީ، حكيم ވަންތަ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ކަލެއްގެ حضرة ންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

i have only received revelation to give you plain warning.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނީ، ބަޔާންވެގެންހުރި، إنذار ކުރައްވާ ބޭކަލަކު ކަމުގައި މެނުވީ، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް وحى އެއް ނުއިއްވަވަތެވެ.

"had we received guidance from the people living before us,
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: مكة ގެ مشرك ން) ބުނެއުޅެތެވެ.

hast thou received the story of the honoured guests of abraham?
إبراهيم ގެފާނުގެ މާތްވެގެންވާ މެހުމާނުންގެ ވާހަކަ، ކަލޭގެފާނާ ހަމަޔަށް އައިސްފައިވޭތޯއެވެ؟

noah called for help. how blessed was the answer which he received.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، نوح ގެފާނު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް (އެހީއަށްއެދި) ގޮވައިލެއްވިއެވެ. ފަހެ (އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް) އިޖާބަދެއްވި ރަސްކަލާނގެ މޮޅުކަމާއެވެ!

and they said, “o you who received the message, you are insane.”
އެއުރެން ބުނެފޫއެވެ. އޭ قرآن އެބޭކަލެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ބާވައިލެއްވި ކަލޭގެފާނެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނީ، މޮޔައެއްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

you have received this quran from one who is all-wise, all-knowing.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް قرآن އުނގަންނައިދެއްވަނީ، حكيم ވަންތަ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ކަލެއްގެ حضرة ންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

this is the paradise which you have received as your inheritance by virtue of what you have done.
އަދި އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކޮށްއުޅުނު ހެޔޮ عمل ތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް މިލްކުކޮށްދެއްވި ސުވަރުގެއެވެ.

if you are seduced after you have received the authoritative guidance, know that god is majestic and wise.
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ފާޅުވެގެންހުރި حجة ތައް އައުމަށްފަހު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަގުން ކައްސާލައިގެން ހިނގައްޖެނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، عزيز ވަންތަ حكيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ!

o men, you have received infallible proof from your lord, and we have sent down a beacon light to you.
އޭމީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން حجّة އެއް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް އަތުވެއްޖެއެވެ. އަދި، ފާޅުވެ بيان ވެގެންވާ نور އެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބާވައިލެއްވީމެވެ.

some for milk to drink and some from which other benefits may be received? will they not be grateful?
އަދި މަންފާތަކާއި، ބުއިންތައް އެ ތަކެތީގައި އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައިވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން شكر ނުކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

god gives wisdom to anyone whom he wants. whoever is given wisdom, certainly, has received much good.
އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް حكمة ދެއްވައެވެ. އަދި، (އެމީހަކަށް) حكمة ދެއްވި މީހާއަށް ފަހެ، ގިނަވެގެންވާ ހެޔޮކަން ލިބިއްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިން މެނުވީ، ވިސްނައި ހަނދުމަކޮށެއް ނަހަދަތެވެ.

"obey those who ask no reward of you (for themselves), and who have themselves received guidance.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން، އެއްވެސް އުޖޫރައަކަށް ނޭދޭބަޔަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تبع ވާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެންނީ ތެދުމަގު ލިބިގެންވާ ބަޔެކެވެ.

(muhammad), you have certainly received the quran from the all-wise and all-knowing one.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް قرآن އުނގަންނައިދެއްވަނީ، حكيم ވަންތަ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ކަލެއްގެ حضرة ންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

even though, before they received (the rain) - just before this - they were dumb with despair!
އަދި އޭގެކުރިން އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ވާރޭ ވެއްސެވުމުގެކުރިން އުންމީދު ކެނޑި، މާޔޫސްވެފައި ތިބިބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި އެއުރެންވޫއެވެ.
