couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand,
އެއުރެން (قيامة ދުވަހު) ބިރުން ސިހިގެންދާހިނދު ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވައިގަންނަވާނެނަމައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހިނދު ސަލާމަތްވެގެން ދިއުމެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި ގާތުގައިވާ ތަނަކުން އެއުރެން ހިއްޕަވައި ގެންދަވާނެތެވެ.

and if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby.
އެއުރެން (قيامة ދުވަހު) ބިރުން ސިހިގެންދާހިނދު ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވައިގަންނަވާނެނަމައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހިނދު ސަލާމަތްވެގެން ދިއުމެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި ގާތުގައިވާ ތަނަކުން އެއުރެން ހިއްޕަވައި ގެންދަވާނެތެވެ.

if you could only see when they are terrified, and there is no escape, and they are seized from a nearby place.
އެއުރެން (قيامة ދުވަހު) ބިރުން ސިހިގެންދާހިނދު ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވައިގަންނަވާނެނަމައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހިނދު ސަލާމަތްވެގެން ދިއުމެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި ގާތުގައިވާ ތަނަކުން އެއުރެން ހިއްޕަވައި ގެންދަވާނެތެވެ.

ah, if thou couldst see when they are terrified, and there is no escape, and they are seized from a place near at hand,
އެއުރެން (قيامة ދުވަހު) ބިރުން ސިހިގެންދާހިނދު ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވައިގަންނަވާނެނަމައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހިނދު ސަލާމަތްވެގެން ދިއުމެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި ގާތުގައިވާ ތަނަކުން އެއުރެން ހިއްޕަވައި ގެންދަވާނެތެވެ.

everyone in the heavens and earth will be terrified on the day when the trumpet will be sounded except those whom god will save. everyone will humbly come into the presence of god.
ތާޅަފިލި ފުމެލައްވާ ދުވަސް ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! ފަހެ (އެހިނދު) اللَّه އިރާދަކުރެއްވި މީހަކު މެނުވީ، އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކު ބިރުން ސިހިގެންދާނެތެވެ. އަދި އެންމެން ދެރަވެ، ނިކަމެތިވެގެންވާ حال ގައި އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް އަންނާނެތެވެ.

and could you see when they shall become terrified, but (then) there shall be no escape and they shall be seized upon from a near place
އެއުރެން (قيامة ދުވަހު) ބިރުން ސިހިގެންދާހިނދު ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވައިގަންނަވާނެނަމައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހިނދު ސަލާމަތްވެގެން ދިއުމެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި ގާތުގައިވާ ތަނަކުން އެއުރެން ހިއްޕަވައި ގެންދަވާނެތެވެ.

and on the day when the trumpet shall be blown, then those who are in the heavens and those who are in the earth shall be terrified except such as allah please, and all shall come to him abased.
ތާޅަފިލި ފުމެލައްވާ ދުވަސް ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! ފަހެ (އެހިނދު) اللَّه އިރާދަކުރެއްވި މީހަކު މެނުވީ، އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކު ބިރުން ސިހިގެންދާނެތެވެ. އަދި އެންމެން ދެރަވެ، ނިކަމެތިވެގެންވާ حال ގައި އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް އަންނާނެތެވެ.

'throw' he replied. and when they threw, they bewitched the people's eyes and terrified them, and produced great sorcery.
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއްލާށެވެ! ދެންފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެއްލިހިނދު، މީސްތަކުންގެ ލޯތަކަށް ޖާދޫދައްކައި، އެއުރެން ބިރުގެންނެވޫއެވެ. އަދި ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ޖާދޫއެއް އެމީހުން ގެނައޫއެވެ.

and [warn of] the day the horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom allah wills. and all will come to him humbled.
ތާޅަފިލި ފުމެލައްވާ ދުވަސް ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! ފަހެ (އެހިނދު) اللَّه އިރާދަކުރެއްވި މީހަކު މެނުވީ، އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކު ބިރުން ސިހިގެންދާނެތެވެ. އަދި އެންމެން ދެރަވެ، ނިކަމެތިވެގެންވާ حال ގައި އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް އަންނާނެތެވެ.

and (remember) the day on which the trumpet will be blown and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth, will be terrified except him whom allah will (exempt). and all shall come to him humbled.
ތާޅަފިލި ފުމެލައްވާ ދުވަސް ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! ފަހެ (އެހިނދު) اللَّه އިރާދަކުރެއްވި މީހަކު މެނުވީ، އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކު ބިރުން ސިހިގެންދާނެތެވެ. އަދި އެންމެން ދެރަވެ، ނިކަމެތިވެގެންވާ حال ގައި އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް އަންނާނެތެވެ.
