these are nothing but the traditions of the ancients,
މިއީ އިސްވެދިޔަމީހުންގެ އާދަކަމުގައި ނޫނީ ނުވެތެވެ.

different traditions existed in the past. travel in the land and find out about the fate of those who rejected the truth.
(އެކިއެކި أمّة ތަކާމެދު) ހިނގައިދިޔަ ކަންތައްތަކެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކުރިން އިސްވެ ހިނގައްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިމުގައި ދަތުރުފަތުރުކޮށް އުޅޭށެވެ! ދެން، ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުންގެ ނަތީޖާއޮތީ ކޮންފަދަޔަކުންތޯ ނިކަން ބަލައިބަލާށެވެ!

some traditions have been tried before you – therefore travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell those who denied.
(އެކިއެކި أمّة ތަކާމެދު) ހިނގައިދިޔަ ކަންތައްތަކެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކުރިން އިސްވެ ހިނގައްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިމުގައި ދަތުރުފަތުރުކޮށް އުޅޭށެވެ! ދެން، ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުންގެ ނަތީޖާއޮތީ ކޮންފަދަޔަކުންތޯ ނިކަން ބަލައިބަލާށެވެ!

the tradition of allah prevalent among those who passed away before; and you will never find the traditions of allah changing.
(އެއީ) އިސްވެދިޔަ މީހުންނާމެދު، اللَّه، ކަންހިންގެވިގޮތެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ކަންހިންގަވާގޮތަށް ބަދަލެއް އަންނާތީ ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް ފެނިވަޑައެއް ނުގަންނަވާނެތެވެ.

they said: these are most surely two magicians who wish to turn you out from your land by their magic and to take away your best traditions.
އެއުރެން ބުނެފޫއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިއީ ދެ ޖާދޫގަރުންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އެ ދެމީހުން އެދެނީ، އެ ދެމީހުންގެ ޖާދޫގެބާރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ބިމުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނެެރެލުމަށެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދެވަނައެއްނެތް މޮޅު دين އާއި ގޮތް، ނެތިކޮށްލުމަށެވެ.

they said, "certainly they are both magicians who want to drive you out of your land by their magic, and destroy your best traditions.
އެއުރެން ބުނެފޫއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިއީ ދެ ޖާދޫގަރުންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އެ ދެމީހުން އެދެނީ، އެ ދެމީހުންގެ ޖާދޫގެބާރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ބިމުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނެެރެލުމަށެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދެވަނައެއްނެތް މޮޅު دين އާއި ގޮތް، ނެތިކޮށްލުމަށެވެ.

they said: lo! these are two wizards who would drive you out from your country by their magic, and destroy your best traditions;
އެއުރެން ބުނެފޫއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިއީ ދެ ޖާދޫގަރުންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އެ ދެމީހުން އެދެނީ، އެ ދެމީހުންގެ ޖާދޫގެބާރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ބިމުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނެެރެލުމަށެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދެވަނައެއްނެތް މޮޅު دين އާއި ގޮތް، ނެތިކޮށްލުމަށެވެ.

on that day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions).
އިންސާނާ އިސްކުޅަހާ ކަމަކާއި، ފަސްކުޅަހާ ކަމެއްގެ ވާހަކައިން އެ އިންސާނާއަށް އެދުވަހުން خبر ދެއްވާނެތެވެ.

(muhammad), say, "god has spoken the truth. follow the upright tradition of abraham who was not an idolater."
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! اللَّه وحى ކުރެއްވީ ތެދުބަސްފުޅެވެ. ފަހެ، باطل މަގުން އެއްކިބާވެ، حق ގެ މަގަށް تبع ވެގެންވާ إبراهيم ގެފާނުންގެ دين އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تبع ވާށެވެ! އަދި، އެކަލޭގެފާނު مشرك ންގެ ތެރެޔަކުން ނުވެއެވެ.
