yours shall be your requital, and mine shall be my requital.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ دين އެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ دين އެވެ.

to you be your way, and to me mine.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ دين އެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ دين އެވެ.

such shall be your hospitality on the day of recompense.
قيامة ދުވަހުން އެއުރެންގެ މެހުމާންދާރީއަކީ މިއެވެ.

say: 'i ask no wage of you; that shall be yours. my wage is only upon allah and he is witness over everything'
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން އެއްވެސް އުޖޫރަައަކަށް ތިމަންއެދިފައިވާނަމަ، ފަހެ، އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށެވެ. ތިމަންނައަށް ދަރުމަދެއްވުން اللَّه އަށް މެނުވީ ނުވެތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެއީ، ކޮންމެކަމެއްގެ މައްޗަށް މޮޅަށް ހެކިވެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

or have we sworn a covenant with you which we are bound to keep till the day of resurrection, (a covenant requiring that whatever you ordain for yourselves shall be yours)?
ނުވަތަ قيامة ދުވަހާ ޖެހެންދެން ކަށަވަރުވެ، ދެމިއޮންނަ عهد ތަކެއް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ވަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން حكم ކުރާ ގޮތްތައްހުރީ، ހަމަ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށެވެ.

exalted be your lord, the lord of glory, beyond their allegations.
އެއުރެން ސިފަކުރާ ކަންތަކުން ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރި، عزّة ގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ހުސްطاهر ވެ ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

and it will be said, ‘today we will forget you, just as you forgot the encounter of this day of yours. the fire will be your abode, and you will not have any helpers.
އަދި އަންގަވާނެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މިދުވަހާ ބައްދަލުވާނެކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދާންނައްތައިލި ފަދައިން، މިއަދު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަނައްތަވާހުށީމެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިބެނިވި ތަނަކީ ނަރަކަޔެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް نصر ދޭނޭ އެއްވެސް ބަޔަކު ނުވެތެވެ.

and it will be said: “we will forget you today as you forgot the meeting of this day of yours. the fire shall now be your abode, and you shall have none to come to your aid.
އަދި އަންގަވާނެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މިދުވަހާ ބައްދަލުވާނެކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދާންނައްތައިލި ފަދައިން، މިއަދު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަނައްތަވާހުށީމެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިބެނިވި ތަނަކީ ނަރަކަޔެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް نصر ދޭނޭ އެއްވެސް ބަޔަކު ނުވެތެވެ.

god has promised you one of the two groups—that it would be yours—but you wanted the unarmed group to be yours. god intends to prove the truth with his words, and to uproot the disbelievers.
ދެބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން (އެބަހީ: ވިޔަފާރި قافلة އާއި، ހަނގުރާމަވެރި لشكر ގެތެރެއިން) އެއްބަޔެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް نصر ލިބޭނެ ކަމުގައި، اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعد ކުރެއްވިހިނދު، ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ބާރުވެރިކަން ލިބިގެންނުވާ މީހުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި އޮތުމަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެދެމުއެވެ. (ނަމަވެސް) اللَّه އިރާދަކުރައްވަނީ، އެކަލާނގެ كلمة ފުޅުތަކުން حق ސާބިތުކުރައްވައި، ފާޅުކުރެއްވުމަށެވެ. އަދި كافر ންގެ أصل މުލުން ލުހެލެއްވުމަށެވެ.

had we wished we would have set angels in your stead to be [your] successors on the earth.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ބަދަލުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ފަހަށް، ބިމުގައި ملائكة ން ލައްވައިފީމުހެވެ.

do not be inclined towards the unjust ones lest you will be afflicted by the hell fire. besides god, no one can be your protector nor will anyone be able to help you.
އަދި އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުންގެ ފަރާތަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުޑަކޮށްވެސް ނުލެނބޭށެވެ! ފަހެ، (އެ ހިނދުން) ނަރަކައިގެ އަލިފާން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގައި ބީހިދާނެތެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ފިޔަވައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެހީތެރިވާނޭ އެއްވެސް ފަރާތެއް ނެތެވެ. ދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް نصر އެއްވެސް ނުލިބޭނެތެވެ.

"and leave those whom allah has created for you to be your mates? nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!"
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ހައްދަވައި (حلال ކުރައްވައި) ފައިވާ އަނބިން ދޫކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ (ނުބައިކަންތަކުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ ބަޔަކީމުއެވެ.
