اس بات پر کہ لوگوں نے رحمان کے لیے اولاد ہونے کا دعویٰ کیا!

بیشک جو لوگ اپنے رب کی خشیّت سے مضطرب اور لرزاں رہتے ہیں،

we offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, because they were afraid of it. but man bore it: he surely proved unjust and ignorant.
بیشک ہم نے امانت پیش فرمائی آسمانوں اور زمین اور پہاڑوں پر تو انہوں نے اس کے اٹھانے سے انکار کیا اور اس سے ڈر گئے اور آدمی نے اٹھالی، بیشک وہ اپنی جان کو مشقت میں ڈالنے والا بڑا نادان ہے،

surely we offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to be unfaithful to it and feared from it, and man has turned unfaithful to it; surely he is unjust, ignorant;
بیشک ہم نے (اِطاعت کی) امانت آسمانوں اور زمین اور پہاڑوں پر پیش کی تو انہوں نے اس (بوجھ) کے اٹھانے سے انکار کر دیا اور اس سے ڈر گئے اور انسان نے اسے اٹھا لیا، بیشک وہ (اپنی جان پر) بڑی زیادتی کرنے والا (ادائیگئ امانت میں کوتاہی کے انجام سے) بڑا بے خبر و نادان ہے،

we offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to carry it and were afraid of doing so; but man carried it. surely he is wrong-doing, ignorant.
بیشک ہم نے (اِطاعت کی) امانت آسمانوں اور زمین اور پہاڑوں پر پیش کی تو انہوں نے اس (بوجھ) کے اٹھانے سے انکار کر دیا اور اس سے ڈر گئے اور انسان نے اسے اٹھا لیا، بیشک وہ (اپنی جان پر) بڑی زیادتی کرنے والا (ادائیگئ امانت میں کوتاہی کے انجام سے) بڑا بے خبر و نادان ہے،

we did indeed offer the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man undertook it;- he was indeed unjust and foolish;-
بیشک ہم نے (اِطاعت کی) امانت آسمانوں اور زمین اور پہاڑوں پر پیش کی تو انہوں نے اس (بوجھ) کے اٹھانے سے انکار کر دیا اور اس سے ڈر گئے اور انسان نے اسے اٹھا لیا، بیشک وہ (اپنی جان پر) بڑی زیادتی کرنے والا (ادائیگئ امانت میں کوتاہی کے انجام سے) بڑا بے خبر و نادان ہے،

indeed, we offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.
بیشک ہم نے (اِطاعت کی) امانت آسمانوں اور زمین اور پہاڑوں پر پیش کی تو انہوں نے اس (بوجھ) کے اٹھانے سے انکار کر دیا اور اس سے ڈر گئے اور انسان نے اسے اٹھا لیا، بیشک وہ (اپنی جان پر) بڑی زیادتی کرنے والا (ادائیگئ امانت میں کوتاہی کے انجام سے) بڑا بے خبر و نادان ہے،
