"you are among the reprieved," (said the lord),
wuxuuna yidhi eebe adugu kuwa la sugi yaad ka mid tahay.

neither heaven nor earth wept over them, nor were they reprieved.
uma ooyin samada iyo dhulku korkooda, lamana sugin.

allah said: "then, verily, you are of those reprieved,
wuxuuna yidhi eebe adugu kuwa la sugi yaad ka mid tahay.

[allah] said, "so indeed, you are of those reprieved
eebe wuxuu yidhi waxaad ka midtahay kuwa la sugi.

[allah] said, "indeed, you are of those reprieved."
wuxuu yidhi (eebe) waxaad ka mid tahay kuwa la sugi.

but we send down the angels only to bring justice and then they will not be reprieved.
umana soo dehinno malaa'igta xaq mooyee lamana sugeen gaalada (markaas).

abiding eternally therein. the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.

markay arkan kuwii dulmi falay cadaabka lagama fududeeyo xaggooda lamana sugo.

and when those who did wrong behold the doom, it will not be made light for them, nor will they be reprieved.
