now we have tried them, even as we tried the owners of the garden when they swore they would pluck in the morning
hakika tumewajaribu hawa kama tulivyo wajaribu wale wenye shamba, walipo apa kwamba watayavuna mazao yake itakapo kuwa asubuhi.

saying: "go to your tilth in the morning, if you would pluck the fruits."
ya kwamba nendeni kondeni mwenu ikiwa mnataka kuvuna.

then we shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the all-merciful;
kisha kwa yakini tutawatoa katika kila kundi wale miongoni mwao walio zidi kumuasi arrahmani, mwingi wa rahema..

lo! we have tried them as we tried the owners of the garden when they vowed that they would pluck its fruit next morning,
hakika tumewajaribu hawa kama tulivyo wajaribu wale wenye shamba, walipo apa kwamba watayavuna mazao yake itakapo kuwa asubuhi.

at that time jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

siku moja ya sabato, yesu alikuwa anapita katika mashamba ya ngano. walipokuwa wanatembea, wanafunzi wake wakaanza kukwanyua masuke ya ngano.

verily, we have tried them as we tried the people of the garden, when they swore to pluck the fruits of the (garden) in the morning,
hakika tumewajaribu hawa kama tulivyo wajaribu wale wenye shamba, walipo apa kwamba watayavuna mazao yake itakapo kuwa asubuhi.

and if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
na kama jicho lako likikukosesha, ling'oe na kulitupa mbali nawe. ni afadhali kwako kuingia katika uzima ukiwa chongo, kuliko kutupwa katika moto wa jehanamu ukiwa na macho yako yote mawili.

and if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
basi, kama jicho lako la kulia linakukosesha, ling'oe ukalitupe mbali. afadhali zaidi kwako kupoteza kiungo kimoja cha mwili wako, kuliko mwili wako wote kutupwa katika moto wa jehanamu.
