Ин як аз пайравонаш буд ва он як аз душманонаш. Он кӣ аз пайравонаш буд, бар зидди он дигар, ки аз душманонаш буд, аз ӯ ёрӣ хост.

so moses hit him with his fist, whereupon he expired.
Мӯсо муште бар ӯ зад ва ӯро кушт.

so musa truck him with his fist, and put an end of him.
Мӯсо муште бар ӯ зад ва ӯро кушт.

when he falls (into hell), his wealth will not help him.
Ва чун ҳалокаш даррасад, дороияш ба ҳолаш фоида набахшад.

then his lord chose him, and inclined towards him with his mercy, and guided him.
Сипас Парвардигораш ӯро ихтиёр кард ва тавбаашро бипазируфт ва ҳидояташ кард.

all that. whoever venerates the sanctities of god—it is good for him with his lord.
Ҳамчунин ҳар кас даст аз ҳаром бидорад, дар назди Парвардигораш барояш беҳтар аст.

all that; and whosoever venerates the sacred rites of allah it shall be better for him with his lord.
Ҳамчунин ҳар кас даст аз ҳаром бидорад, дар назди Парвардигораш барояш беҳтар аст.

all that; and whosoever venerates the sacred things of god, it shall be better for him with his lord.
Ҳамчунин ҳар кас даст аз ҳаром бидорад, дар назди Парвардигораш барояш беҳтар аст.

also trust in the living one who never dies and glorify him with his praise. he has sufficient knowledge of the sins of his servants.
Ва бар Он зиндае, ки намемирад, таваккал кун ва ба ситоиши Ӯ тасбеҳ гӯй ва Ӯ худ барои огоҳӣ аз гуноҳони бандагонаш кофист,

the seven heavens and the earth and all who dwell therein glorify him. there is not a single thing but glorifies him with his praise; but you do not understand their glorification.
Ҳафт осмону замин ва ҳар чӣ дар онҳост, тасбеҳаш мекунанд ва ҳеҷ мавҷуде нест, ҷуз он ки Ӯро ба покӣ меситояд, вале шумо зикри тасбеҳашонро намефаҳмед.

he said: "shall i trust you with him with any result other than when i trusted you with his brother aforetime?
Гуфт: «Оё ӯро ба шумо бисупорам, ҳамчунон ки бародарашро пеш аз ин ба шумо супурдам?»

whosoever thinks god will not help him in the present world and the world to come; let him stretch up a rope to heaven, then let him sever it, and behold whether his guile does away with what enrages him.
Касе, ки мепиндорад, ки Худо дар дунёву охират ёриаш нахоҳад кард, худашро бо ресмоне ба сақф биёвезад то худро хафа кунад ва бингарад, ки оё ин ҳила хашмашро аз миён хоҳад бурд.

so if one repents after his wrongdoing and reforms himself, allah will incline towards him with his mercy; indeed allah is oft forgiving, most merciful.
Ҳар кас пас аз кирдори нописандаш тавба кунад ва ба салоҳ ояд, Худо тавбаи ӯро мепазирад, ки Ӯ омурзанда ва меҳрубон аст!

and the thunder glorifies him with his praise and the angels do so too in awe of him, and he sends his thunderbolts to strike anyone he pleases, yet they dispute about god, who is inexorable in his power.
Раъд ба ситоиши Ӯ ва фариштагон аз бими Ӯ тасбеҳ мекунанд. Ва оташакҳоро мефиристад ва ҳар киро бихоҳад, ба он осеб мерасонад.

and he went into the city at a time of unvigilance on the part of its people, so he found therein two men fighting, one being of his party and the other of his foes, and he who was of his party cried out to him for help against him who was of his enemies, so musa struck him with his fist and killed him.
Ин як аз пайравонаш буд ва он як аз душманонаш. Он кӣ аз пайравонаш буд, бар зидди он дигар, ки аз душманонаш буд, аз ӯ ёрӣ хост.

if you do not help him, god has already helped him, when those who disbelieved expelled him, and he was the second of two in the cave. he said to his friend, “do not worry, god is with us.”
Агар шумо ёриаш накунед, он гоҳ, ки кофирон берунаш карданд, Худо ёриаш кард. Яке аз он ду ба ҳангоме, ки дар ғор буданд, ба рафиқаш мегуфт: «Андӯҳгин мабош, Худо бо мост!»

we caused the earth to swallow him, together with his dwelling, and there was no host to help him, other than allah; and he was not amongst the victorious.
Пас ӯ ва хонаашро дар замин фурӯ бурдем ва дар баробари Худо ҳеҷ гурӯҳе надошт, ки ёриаш кунад ва худ ёрӣ кардани худро наметавонист.

as an example to those who are bent on denying the truth, god cited the wife of noah and the wife of lot, who were married to two of our righteous servants, but who betrayed them. so they could not help them against god, and they were told, "enter the fire along with all the others."
Худо барои кофирон мисоли зани Нӯҳу зани Лутро меоварад, ки ҳар ду дар никоҳи ду тан аз бандагони солеҳи Мо буданд ва ба он ду хиёнат карданд, Ва онҳо натавонистанд аз занони худ дафъи азоб кунанд ва гуфта шуд: «Бо дигарон ба оташ дароед!»

if any think that allah will not help him (his messenger) in this world and the hereafter, let him stretch out a rope to the ceiling and cut (himself) off: then let him see whether his plan will remove that which enrages (him)!
Касе, ки мепиндорад, ки Худо дар дунёву охират ёриаш нахоҳад кард, худашро бо ресмоне ба сақф биёвезад то худро хафа кунад ва бингарад, ки оё ин ҳила хашмашро аз миён хоҳад бурд.
