and those in the fire will say to the keepers of hell, "supplicate your lord to lighten for us a day from the punishment."
Ва онон, ки дар оташанд, ба нигаҳбонони ҷаҳаннам мегӯянд: «Аз Парвардигоратон бихоҳед, то як рӯз аз азоби мо кам кунад».

and say to the unbelievers: 'act you according to your station; we are acting.
Ба касоне, ки имон намеоваранд, бигӯ: «Шумо ба чӣ тарз, ки хоҳед, амал кунед, мо низ амал мекунем.

and say to those who have been given the book and to the common folk: 'have you surrendered?'
Ба аҳли китоб ва мушрикон бигӯ: «Оё шумо ҳам ба Худо ихлос намудед?»

and we shall say to the evildoers, 'taste the chastisement of the fire, which you cried lies to!'
Ва ба ситамкорон гӯем: «Бичашед азоби оташро, ки дурӯғаш мепиндоштед!»

and say to the disbelievers, “keep on with your works in your places; we are carrying out ours.”

and the first of them will say to the last of them, ‘you have no merit over us! so taste the punishment because of what you used to earn.’

Рӯзе, ки мардони мунофиқу занони мунофиқ ба касоне, ки имон овардаанд, мегӯянд: «Ба мо нигоҳ кунед, то аз нуратон фурӯғе гирем!»

say to the desert-arabs who lagged behind, “you will be called against a people of great might; you will fight them, unless they submit.
Ба аъроби бодиянишин, ки аз ҷанг тахаллуф намудаанд, бигӯ: «Ба зудӣ барои ҷанг ба мардуме сахт нерӯманд даъват карда мешавед, ки бо онҳо биҷангед ё мусалмон шаванд.

and [beware the day] when allah will say, "o jesus, son of mary, did you say to the people, 'take me and my mother as deities besides allah?'"
Ва он гоҳ ки Худо ба Исо бинни Марям гуфт: «Оё ту ба мардум гуфтӣ, ки марову модарамро ғайри Оллоҳ ба худоӣ гиред?»

and when it is said to them, 'expend of that god has provided you,' the unbelievers say to the believers, 'what, shall we feed such a one whom, if god willed, he would feed?
Ва чун гуфта шавад, ки аз он чӣ Худо рӯзиятон кардааст, садақа кунед, кофирон ба мӯъминон гуянд: «Оё касонеро таъом диҳем, ки агар Худо мехост, худ онҳоро таъом медод?

those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "nay! it was a plot (of yours) by day and by night: behold!
Забуншудагон ба қудратмандон гӯянд: «На, шумо шабу рӯз ҳила мекардед, он гоҳ ки моро фармон медодед, ки ба Худои якто кофир шавем ва барои Ӯ шариконе қарор диҳем!»
