when two groups from among you were about to lose heart, god was their protector. in god let the faithful put their trust.
(அந்தப் போரில்) உங்களில் இரண்டு பிரிவினர் தைரியம் இழந்து (ஓடி விடலாமா) என்று எண்ணியபோது - அல்லாஹ் அவ்விரு பிரிவாருக்கும் (உதவி செய்து) காப்போனாக இருந்தான்;. ஆகவே முஃமின்கள் அல்லாஹ்விடத்திலேயே முழு நம்பிக்கை வைக்கவேண்டும்.

do not, then, either lose heart or grieve: for you shall surely gain the upper hand if you are true men of faith.
எனவே நீங்கள் தைரியத்தை இழக்காதீர்கள்;. கவலையும் கொல்லாதீர்கள்; நீங்கள் முஃமின்களாக இருந்தால் நீங்கள் தாம் உன்னதமானவர்களாக இருப்பீர்கள்.

and obey allah and his apostle, and do not dispute, or you will lose heart and your power will be gone. and be patient; indeed allah is with the patient.
இன்னும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்படியுங்கள் - நீங்கள் கருத்து வேறுபாடு கொள்ளாதீர்கள்; (அவ்வாறு கொண்டால்) கோழைகளாகி விடுவீர்கள்; உங்கள் பலம் குன்றிவிடும்; (துன்பங்களைச் சகித்துக் கொண்டு) நீங்கள் பொறுமையாக இருங்கள் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் பொறுமையுடையவர்களுடன் இருக்கின்றான்.

how many a prophet has fought with many devout men alongside him! they did not lose heart, despite all that they had to suffer in god's path. they neither weakened nor yielded. god loves the patient!
மேலும் எத்தனையோ நபிமார்கள், அவர்களுடன் ரிப்பிய்யூன்கள் (என்னும் இறையடியார்களும்) பெருமளவில் சேர்ந்து (அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில்) போர் செய்தனர்;. எனினும், அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட துன்பங்களால் அவர்கள் தைரியம் இழந்து விடவில்லை, பலஹீனம் அடைந்து விடவுமில்லை. (எதிரிகளுக்குப்) பணிந்து விடவுமில்லை - அல்லாஹ் (இத்தகைய) பொறுமையாளர்களையே நேசிக்கின்றான்.

and obey god, and his messenger, and do not quarrel together, and so lose heart, and your power depart; and be patient; surely god is with the patient.
இன்னும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்படியுங்கள் - நீங்கள் கருத்து வேறுபாடு கொள்ளாதீர்கள்; (அவ்வாறு கொண்டால்) கோழைகளாகி விடுவீர்கள்; உங்கள் பலம் குன்றிவிடும்; (துன்பங்களைச் சகித்துக் கொண்டு) நீங்கள் பொறுமையாக இருங்கள் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் பொறுமையுடையவர்களுடன் இருக்கின்றான்.

and obey allah and his messenger; and fall into no disputes, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: for allah is with those who patiently persevere:
இன்னும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்படியுங்கள் - நீங்கள் கருத்து வேறுபாடு கொள்ளாதீர்கள்; (அவ்வாறு கொண்டால்) கோழைகளாகி விடுவீர்கள்; உங்கள் பலம் குன்றிவிடும்; (துன்பங்களைச் சகித்துக் கொண்டு) நீங்கள் பொறுமையாக இருங்கள் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் பொறுமையுடையவர்களுடன் இருக்கின்றான்.

and many prophets have fought in allah’s cause – and many devoted men were with them; so neither did they lose heart due to the calamities that befell them in allah's cause, nor did they weaken and nor were they subdued; and the steadfast are the beloved of allah.
