"ஆகையால், எங்கள் இறைவனுடைய வாக்கு எங்கள் மீது உண்மையாகி விட்டது நிச்சயமாக நாம் (யாவரும் வேதனையைச்) சுவைப்பவர்கள் தாம்!

இவ்வாறே, நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக நரகவாசிகள்தாம் என்ற உம்முடைய இறைவனின் வாக்கு அவர்கள் மீது உறுதியாகிவிட்டது.

the sentence of our lord has come true for us. we have certainly to taste (the punishment),
"ஆகையால், எங்கள் இறைவனுடைய வாக்கு எங்கள் மீது உண்மையாகி விட்டது நிச்சயமாக நாம் (யாவரும் வேதனையைச்) சுவைப்பவர்கள் தாம்!

but what of him against whom the sentence of punishment is justified? can you rescue one who is already in the fire?
(நபியே!) எவன் மீது வேதனை பற்றிய வாக்கு உண்மையாகி விட்டதோ, நெருப்பிலிருக்கும் அவனை நீர் காப்பாற்றி விடமுடியுமா?

so the sentence of our lord has come to pass against us: (now) we shall surely taste;
"ஆகையால், எங்கள் இறைவனுடைய வாக்கு எங்கள் மீது உண்மையாகி விட்டது நிச்சயமாக நாம் (யாவரும் வேதனையைச்) சுவைப்பவர்கள் தாம்!

can he against whom the sentence of punishment has been justified (be rescued)? can you save him who is in the fire?
(நபியே!) எவன் மீது வேதனை பற்றிய வாக்கு உண்மையாகி விட்டதோ, நெருப்பிலிருக்கும் அவனை நீர் காப்பாற்றி விடமுடியுமா?

what! as for him then against whom the sentence of chastisement is due: what! can you save him who is in the fire?
(நபியே!) எவன் மீது வேதனை பற்றிய வாக்கு உண்மையாகி விட்டதோ, நெருப்பிலிருக்கும் அவனை நீர் காப்பாற்றி விடமுடியுமா?

it is against such that allah's sentence (of punishment) has become due. they will join the communities of humans and jinn that have preceded them. verily all of them will court utter loss.
இத்தகையோரின் நிலையோ, இவர்களுக்கு முன்னே சென்று போன ஜின்கள் மனிதர்கள் கூட்டத்தினரில் (பாவம் செய்ததினால்) எவர்களுக்கு எதிராக (அல்லாஹ்வின்) வாக்கு மெய்யாக உறுதியாய் விடுகிறதோ, அது போன்றது தான்; நிச்சயமாக இவர்கள் நஷ்டவாளிகளாய் விட்டனர்.

when we decide to destroy a town, we command the affluent section of its people, but they transgress therein; thus the word [sentence of punishment] is justified, then we destroy the town utterly.
நாம் ஓர் ஊரை (அதன் தீமையின் காரணமாக) அழிக்க நாடினால், அதிலுள்ள (வசதியான) சுகவாசிகளை (நேர்வழியைப் பின்பற்றி வாழுமாறு) நாம் ஏவுவோம்; ஆனால் அவர்களோ (நம் ஏவலுக்கு கட்டுப்படாமல்) வரம்பு மீறி நடப்பார்கள். அப்போது, அவ்வூரின் மீது, (வேதனை பற்றிய நம்) வாக்கு உண்மையாகி விடுகிறது - அப்பால், நாம் அதனை அடியோடு அழித்து விடுகிறோம்.

(after the judgement has been passed) the unbelievers shall be driven in companies to hell so that when they arrive there, its gates shall be thrown open and its keepers shall say to them: “did messengers from among yourselves not come to you, rehearsing to you the signs of your lord and warning you against your meeting of this day?” they will say: “yes indeed; but the sentence of chastisement was bound to be executed against the unbelievers.”
(அந்நாளில்) நிராகரித்தவர்கள் கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக நரகத்திற்கு இழுத்துக் கொண்டு வரப்படுவார்கள்; அவர்கள் அங்கே வந்தவுடன் அதன் வாசல்கள் திறக்கப்படும்; அதன் காவலர்கள் அவர்களை நோக்கி "உங்களிலிருந்து (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதர்கள், உங்கள் இறைவனுடைய வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கிறவர்களாகவும், இந்த நாளை நீங்கள் சந்திக்க வேண்டுமென்பதைப் பற்றி உங்களை அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவர்களாகவும் உங்களிடம் வரவில்லையா?" என்று கேட்பார்கள்; (இதற்கு அவர்கள்) "ஆம் (வந்தார்கள்)" என்று கூறுவார்கள்; எனினும் காஃபிர்களுக்கு வேதனை பற்றிய வாக்கு உண்மையாகி விட்டது.
