and if grace from allah come to you, he would certainly cry out, as if there had not been any friendship between you and him: would that i had been with them, then i should have attained a mighty good fortune.
அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு ஒரு பாக்கியம் கிடைக்குமானால், உங்களுக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு மிடையே நேசமே இல்லாத (அன்னியர்கள்) போல்; "நானும் அவர்களுடன் இருந்திருக்கக் கூடாதா? நானும் பெரும் பாக்கியத்தை அடைந்திருப்பேனே!" என்று நிச்சயமாகக் கூறுவார்கள்.

and if a bounty from allah befell you, he would surely cry, as if there had been no love between you and him: oh, would that i had been with them, then should i have achieved a great success!
அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு ஒரு பாக்கியம் கிடைக்குமானால், உங்களுக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு மிடையே நேசமே இல்லாத (அன்னியர்கள்) போல்; "நானும் அவர்களுடன் இருந்திருக்கக் கூடாதா? நானும் பெரும் பாக்கியத்தை அடைந்திருப்பேனே!" என்று நிச்சயமாகக் கூறுவார்கள்.

and the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. she said: "would that i had died before this, and had been forgotten and out of sight!"

but if, by god's grace, good fortune should be your lot, they will say, "if only i had been with them i should have achieved a great success," as if no affection had existed between you and them.
