வேதத்தையுடையோரே! நீங்கள் உங்கள் மார்க்கத்தில் அளவு கடந்து செல்லாதீர்கள். அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றி உண்மையைத் தவிர (வேறெதையும்) கூறாதீர்கள்;. நிச்சயமாக மர்யமுடைய மகனாகிய ஈஸா அல்மஸீஹ் அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதர் தான்;. இன்னும் ("குன்" ஆகுக என்ற) அல்லாஹ்வின் வாக்காக (அதனால் உண்டானவராகவும்) இருக்கின்றார். அதை அவன் மர்யமின்பால் போட்டான்;. (எனவே) அவரும் அவனிடமிருந்து (வந்த) ஓர் ஆன்மா தான்;. ஆகவே, அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும் அவன் தூதர்கள் மீதும் ஈமான் கொள்ளுங்கள்;. இன்னும், (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய இறைவன்) மூன்று என்று கூறாதீர்கள் - (இப்படிக் கூறுவதை விட்டு) விலகிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்;. (இது) உங்களுக்கு நன்மையாகும் - ஏனெனில் வணக்கத்திற்குரிய இறைவன் அல்லாஹ் ஒருவன் தான்;. அவனுக்கு எவரும் சந்ததியாக இருப்பதிலிருந்து அவன் தூய்மையானவன். வானங்களிலும்;, பூமியிலும் இருப்பவையெல்லாம் அவனுக்கே சொந்தம். (காரியங்கள் அனைத்துக்கும்) பொறுப்பேற்றுக் கொள்வதற்கு அல்லாஹ்வே போதுமானவன்.
