நிச்சயமாக இது தான் உண்மை. நரகவாசிகள் (இவ்வாறு தான்) ஒருவரோடு ஒருவர் தர்க்கம் செய்து கொள்வார்கள்.

அவனை நான் "ஸகர்" (என்னும்) நரகில் புகச் செய்வேன்.

boiling water, and cast into the fire.
கொதிக்கும் நீரிலும், பிறகு (நரக)த் தீயிலும் கரிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

into the balling water; then into the fire they will be stocked.
கொதிக்கும் நீரிலும், பிறகு (நரக)த் தீயிலும் கரிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

the day when god’s enemies are herded into the fire, forcibly.
மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வின் பகைவர்கள் (நரகத்)தீயின் பால் ஒன்று திரட்டப்படும் நாளில், அவர்கள் (தனித் தனியாகப்) பிரிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

"what has brought you into the fire of hell ?"
"உங்களை ஸகர் (நரகத்தில்) நுழைய வைத்தது எது?" (என்று கேட்பார்கள்.)

lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the fire.
நிச்சயமாக இது தான் உண்மை. நரகவாசிகள் (இவ்வாறு தான்) ஒருவரோடு ஒருவர் தர்க்கம் செய்து கொள்வார்கள்.

besides god, and lead them to the path of the fire;
"அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி (அவர்கள் வழிபட்டவை அவை) பின்னர் அவர்களை, நரகத்தின் பாதைக்கு கொண்டு செல்லுங்கள்.

and beware of the fire gotten ready for the infidels.
தவிர (நரக) நெருப்பிற்கு அஞ்சுங்கள், அது காஃபிர்களுக்காக சித்தம் செய்து வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

so he looked down and saw him in the midst of the fire.
அவர் (கீழே) நோக்கினார்; அவனை நரகத்தின் நடுவில் பார்த்தார்.

தவிர (நரக) நெருப்பிற்கு அஞ்சுங்கள், அது காஃபிர்களுக்காக சித்தம் செய்து வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

அவன் (-ஃபிர்அவ்ன்) மறுமை றானில் தன் சமூகத்தாருக்கு முன் சென்று அவர்களை நரகத்தில் சேர்ப்பான்; (அவர்களைக்) கொண்டு போய்ச் சேர்க்குமிடம் மிகவும் கெட்டது.

on that day when they shall be pitched into the fire of gehenna (hell),
அந்நாளில் அவர்கள் நரக நெருப்பின் பால் இழுக்கப்படுவோராக இழுக்கப்படுவர்.

he shall head his people on the day of resurrection and cause them to descend into the fire, ill is the descent, descended!
அவன் (-ஃபிர்அவ்ன்) மறுமை றானில் தன் சமூகத்தாருக்கு முன் சென்று அவர்களை நரகத்தில் சேர்ப்பான்; (அவர்களைக்) கொண்டு போய்ச் சேர்க்குமிடம் மிகவும் கெட்டது.

"neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the fire."
(அது) நிழலளிப்பதுமல்ல, (நரகின்) கடுந்தழலை விட்டுக் காப்பாற்றுவதுமல்ல.
