and do not kill your children for fear of poverty; we give them sustenance and yourselves (too); surely to kill them is a great wrong.

and we sent to no city a prophet [who was denied] except that we seized its people with poverty and hardship that they might humble themselves [to allah].
நாம் நபிமார்களை அனுப்பி வைத்த ஒவ்வோர் ஊரிலுள்ள மக்களையும், (அம் மக்கள்) பணிந்து நடப்பதற்காக, நாம் அவர்களை வறுமையாலும், பிணியாலும் பிடிக்காமல் (சோதிக்காமல்) இருந்ததில்லை.
