(நபியே!) வேதத்திலிருந்து ஒரு பாகம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டோரை நீர் கவனிக்கவில்லையா? அவர்கள் வழிகேட்டை விலைக்கு வாங்கிக் கொள்கின்றனர் - நீங்கள் வழிகெட்டு விடவேண்டும் என்றும் அவர்கள் விரும்புகிறார்கள்.

to exercise patience and forgive (the wrong done to one) is the proof of genuine determination.
ஆனால், எவரேனும் (பிறர் செய்த தீங்கைப்) பொறுத்துக் கொண்டு மன்னித்து விட்டால், நிச்சயமாக, அது மிக்க உறுதியான (வீரமுள்ள) செயலாகும்.

one who worships things besides god has no proof of the authority of such things. god is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. the unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness.
மேலும், எவன் அல்லாஹ்வுடன் வேறு நாயனைப் பிரார்த்திக்கிறானோ அவனுக்கு அதற்காக எவ்வித ஆதாரமும் இல்லை அவனுடைய கணக்கு அவனுடைய இறைவனிடம்தான் இருக்கிறது நிச்சயமாக காஃபிர்கள் வெற்றி அடைய மாட்டார்கள்.

she desired him, had he not been shown the proof of his lord he would have taken her. but we turned him away from evil and abomination, for he was one of our sincere worshipers.
ஆனால் அவளோ அவரைத் திடமாக விரும்பினாள்; அவரும் தம் இறைவனின் ஆதாரத்தைக் கண்டிராவிட்டால் அவள் மீது விருப்பம் கொண்டே இருப்பார்; இவ்வாறு நாம் அவரைவிட்டுத் தீமையையும் மானக்கேடான செயல்களையும் திருப்பிவிட்டோம் - ஏனெனில் நிச்சயமாக அவர் நம் தூய்மையான அடியார்களில் ஒருவராக இருந்தார்.

nor did those to whom the book had been given split up until after the proof (of the right way) had come to them.
எனினும் வேதக்காரர்கள் அவர்களுக்குத் தெளிவான (இந்த) ஆதாரம் வந்த பின்னரேயன்றி அவர்கள் பிளவுபடவில்லை.

ஒரு பெற்றோர் மட்டுமே பங்கேற்கும் விண்ணப்பம் மற்றும் ஒன்றுக்கு மேற்பட்ட பெற்றோர்கள் பெற்றோரின் ஆதாரத்தில் பட்டியலிடப்பட்டுள்ளனர்; அல்லது பெற்றோர் ஆவணத்தின் ஆதாரத்தில் பட்டியலிடப்பட்டுள்ள பெற்றோரில் ஒருவருக்கு இறப்புச் சான்றிதழ் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்படவில்லை.

and they say: if only he would bring us a miracle from his lord! hath there not come unto them the proof of what is in the former scriptures?
"தம் இறைவனிடமிருந்து ஓர் அத்தாட்சியை ஏன் அவர் நம்மிடம் கொண்டு வரவில்லை?" என்று (நிராகரிப்போர்) கேட்கின்றனர்; முந்தைய வேதங்களில் உள்ள தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகள் அவர்களுக்கு வரவில்லையா?

and whoever invokes with allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful.
மேலும், எவன் அல்லாஹ்வுடன் வேறு நாயனைப் பிரார்த்திக்கிறானோ அவனுக்கு அதற்காக எவ்வித ஆதாரமும் இல்லை அவனுடைய கணக்கு அவனுடைய இறைவனிடம்தான் இருக்கிறது நிச்சயமாக காஃபிர்கள் வெற்றி அடைய மாட்டார்கள்.

or do they have a ladder whereon they can climb and attempt to listen (to what is transpiring in the higher realm)? then, let any of them who has listened to it produce a clear proof of it.
அல்லது, அவர்களுக்கு ஏணி இருந்து அதன் மூலம் (வானத்தின் இரகசியங்களை) கேட்டு வருகின்றார்களா? அவ்வாறாயின், அவர்களில் கேட்டு வந்தவர் செவியேற்றதைத் தெளிவான ஆதாரத்துடன் கொண்டு வரட்டும்.

என்னையும், பொய்ப்பிப்வர்களாகிய அந்தச் சுக வாசிகளையும் விட்டுவிடும்; அவர்களுக்குச் சிறிது அவகாசமும் கொடுப்பீராக.

and leave me (alone to deal with) those in possession of the good things of life, who (yet) deny the truth; and bear with them for a little while.
என்னையும், பொய்ப்பிப்வர்களாகிய அந்தச் சுக வாசிகளையும் விட்டுவிடும்; அவர்களுக்குச் சிறிது அவகாசமும் கொடுப்பீராக.
