சாந்தி (நிலவியிருக்கும்) அது விடியற்காலை உதயமாகும் வரை இருக்கும்.

சாந்தி (நிலவியிருக்கும்) அது விடியற்காலை உதயமாகும் வரை இருக்கும்.

it is peaceful until the rising of the dawn.
சாந்தி (நிலவியிருக்கும்) அது விடியற்காலை உதயமாகும் வரை இருக்கும்.

proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns
மூன்று கிளைகளுடைய (நரகப் புகை) நிழலின் பால் நடப்பீர்களாக.

it is all peace, until the rising of the dawn.
சாந்தி (நிலவியிருக்கும்) அது விடியற்காலை உதயமாகும் வரை இருக்கும்.

say: “i seek refuge with the lord of the rising day;
(நபியே!) நீர் சொல்வீராக: அதிகாலையின் இறைவனிடத்தில் நான் காவல் தேடுகிறேன்.

(the night is) peace until the rising of the dawn.
சாந்தி (நிலவியிருக்கும்) அது விடியற்காலை உதயமாகும் வரை இருக்கும்.

the day they actually hear the blast, will be the day of rising of the dead.
அந்நாளில், உண்மையைக் கொண்டு ஒலிக்கும் பெரும் சப்தத்தை அவர்கள் கேட்பார்கள். அதுதான் (மரித்தோர்) வெளியேறும் நாளாகும்.

surely the rising by night is the firmest way to tread and the best corrective of speech.
நிச்சயமாக, இரவில் எழு(ந்திருந்து வணங்கு)வது (அகத்தையும் புறத்தையும்) ஒருங்கிணைக்க வல்லது. மேலும் வாக்கையும் செவ்வைப்படுத்த வல்லது.

a sustenance for the servants, and we give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising.
(அவற்றின் கனிகளை) அடியார்களுக்கு உணவாக (அளிக்கிறோம்), மேலும், அதைக் கொண்டு இறந்து கிடந்த ஊரை (பூமியை) நாம் உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறோம், இவ்விதமே, (இறந்தவர்கள் உயிர்ப்பிக்கப் பெற்று) வெளியேறுதலும் இருக்கிறது.

it is he who has appointed the night a mantle for you and sleep for a rest. the day he has appointed for rising.
அவன்தான் உங்களுக்கு இரவை ஆடையாகவும், நித்திரையை இளைப்பாறுதலாகவும் ஆக்கியிருக்கின்றான்; இன்னும், அவனே பகலை உழைப்பிற்கு ஏற்றவாறு ஆக்கியிருக்கிறான்.

it is he who appointed the night for you to be a garment and sleep for a rest, and day he appointed for a rising.
அவன்தான் உங்களுக்கு இரவை ஆடையாகவும், நித்திரையை இளைப்பாறுதலாகவும் ஆக்கியிருக்கின்றான்; இன்னும், அவனே பகலை உழைப்பிற்கு ஏற்றவாறு ஆக்கியிருக்கிறான்.

it is he who made the night a mantle for you, and sleep for repose; and made the day a time for rising.
அவன்தான் உங்களுக்கு இரவை ஆடையாகவும், நித்திரையை இளைப்பாறுதலாகவும் ஆக்கியிருக்கின்றான்; இன்னும், அவனே பகலை உழைப்பிற்கு ஏற்றவாறு ஆக்கியிருக்கிறான்.

so bear with patience what they say, and glorify your lord with his praise, before the rising and before the setting of the sun;
எனவே (நபியே!) அவர்கள் கூறுவதைப் பற்றிப் பொறுமையோடிருப்பீராக இன்னும், சூரிய உதயத்திற்கு முன்னரும், (அது) அஸ்தமிப்பதற்கு முன்னரும் உம்முடைய இறைவனின் புகழைக் கொண்டு நீர் தஸ்பீஹு செய்வீராக.

but nay! i swear by the lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that we verily are able
எனவே, கிழக்குத் திசைகள், மேற்குத் திசைகள் ஆகியவற்றின் இறைவனாகிய (நம்) மீது சத்தியமாக, நிச்சயமாக நாம் (விரும்பியவாறு செய்ய) ஆற்றலுடையோம்.

as a provision for our servants, and with it we revive a dead country. likewise will be the rising [from the dead].
(அவற்றின் கனிகளை) அடியார்களுக்கு உணவாக (அளிக்கிறோம்), மேலும், அதைக் கொண்டு இறந்து கிடந்த ஊரை (பூமியை) நாம் உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறோம், இவ்விதமே, (இறந்தவர்கள் உயிர்ப்பிக்கப் பெற்று) வெளியேறுதலும் இருக்கிறது.

therefor (o muhammad) bear with what they say, and hymn the praise of thy lord before the rising and before the setting of the sun;
எனவே (நபியே!) அவர்கள் கூறுவதைப் பற்றிப் பொறுமையோடிருப்பீராக இன்னும், சூரிய உதயத்திற்கு முன்னரும், (அது) அஸ்தமிப்பதற்கு முன்னரும் உம்முடைய இறைவனின் புகழைக் கொண்டு நீர் தஸ்பீஹு செய்வீராக.
