they said: "o saleh, we had placed our hopes in you, but you forbid us from worshipping that which our fathers worshipped, and we are suspicious of what you are calling us to."
அதற்கு அவர்கள், "ஸாலிஹே! இதற்கு முன்னரெல்லாம் நீர் எங்களிடையே நம்பிக்கைக் குரியவராக இருந்தீர்; எங்களுடைய மூதாதையர்கள் எதை வணங்கினார்களோ அதை வணங்குவதைவிட்டு எங்களை விலக்குகின்றீரா? மேலும் நீர் எங்களை எதன் பக்கம் அழைக்கிறீரோ அதைப்பற்றி நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் பெருஞ் சந்தேகத்திலிருக்கிறோம்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
