and when you said “o moosa! we will not believe you till we clearly see allah”; so the thunder seized you while you were watching.
இன்னும் (இதையும் நினைவு கூறுங்கள்;)நீங்கள், 'மூஸாவே! நாங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை கண்கூடாக காணும் வரை உம்மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்ள மாட்டோம்" என்று கூறினீர்கள்; அப்பொழுது, நீங்கள் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போதே உங்களை ஓர் இடி முழக்கம் பற்றிக்கொண்டது.

and the thunder glorifies him with his praise and the angels do so too in awe of him, and he sends his thunderbolts to strike anyone he pleases, yet they dispute about god, who is inexorable in his power.
மேலும் இடி அவன் புகழைக் கொண்டும், மலக்குகள் அவனையஞ்சியும் (அவனை) தஸபீஹு செய்(து துதிக்)கின்றனர். இன்னும் அவனே இடிகளை விழச்செய்து, அவற்றைக் கொண்டு, தான் நாடியவரைத் தாக்குகின்றான்; (இவ்வாறிருந்தும்) அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றி தர்க்கிக்கின்றனர், அவனோ மிகுந்த வல்லமையுடையவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

or like abundant rain from the cloud in which is utter darkness and thunder and lightning; they put their fingers into their ears because of the thunder peal, for fear of death, and allah encompasses the unbelievers.
அல்லது, (இன்னும் ஓர் உதாரணம்;) காரிருளும், இடியும், மின்னலும் கொண்டு வானத்திலிருந்து கடுமழை கொட்டும் மேகம்; (இதிலகப்பட்டுக்கொண்டோர்) மரணத்திற்கு அஞ்சி இடியோசையினால், தங்கள் விரல்களைத் தம் காதுகளில் வைத்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் அல்லாஹ் (எப்போதும் இந்த) காஃபிர்களைச் சூழ்ந்தனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.

and the thunder declares his glory with his praise, and the angels too for awe of him; and he sends the thunderbolts and smites with them whom he pleases, yet they dispute concerning allah, and he is mighty in prowess.
