and mention marium in the book when she drew aside from her family to an eastern place;
(நபியே!) இவ்வேதத்தில் மர்யமைப் பற்றியும் நினைவு கூர்வீராக அவர் தம் குடும்பத்தினரை விட்டும் நீங்கி, கிழக்குப் பக்கமுள்ள இடத்தில் இருக்கும்போது,

and make mention of mary in the scripture, when she had withdrawn from her people to a chamber looking east,
(நபியே!) இவ்வேதத்தில் மர்யமைப் பற்றியும் நினைவு கூர்வீராக அவர் தம் குடும்பத்தினரை விட்டும் நீங்கி, கிழக்குப் பக்கமுள்ள இடத்தில் இருக்கும்போது,

உங்கள் நகைச்சுவையைத் தழுவுங்கள்; அதுதான் உங்களை தனித்துவமாக்குகிறது.

(o muhammad), recite in the book the account of mary, when she withdrew from her people to a place towards the east;
(நபியே!) இவ்வேதத்தில் மர்யமைப் பற்றியும் நினைவு கூர்வீராக அவர் தம் குடும்பத்தினரை விட்டும் நீங்கி, கிழக்குப் பக்கமுள்ள இடத்தில் இருக்கும்போது,

(and when she saw him) she said: 'i take refuge in the merciful from you! if you are fearful'
(அப்படி அவரைக் கண்டதும்,) "நிச்சயமாக நாம் உம்மை விட்டும் ரஹ்மானிடம் காவல் தேடுகிறேன்; நீர் பயபக்தியுடையவராக இருந்தால் (நெருங்காதீர்)" என்றார்.

and when she heard of their gossip, she invited them, and prepared for them a banquet, and she gave each one of them a knife. she said, “come out before them.” and when they saw him, they marveled at him, and cut their hands. they said, “good god, this is not a human, this must be a precious angel.”
அப் பெண்களின் பேச்சக்களை (அஜீஸின் மனைவி) கேட்டபோது (விருந்திற்காகச்) சாய்மானங்கள் சித்தம் செய்து அப் பெண்களுக்கு அழைப்பனுப்பினாள்; (விருந்திற்கு வந்த) அப் பெண்களில ஒவ்வொருத்திக்கும் (பழங்களை நறுக்கித் தின்பதற்காக) ஒரு கத்தியும் கொடுத்தாள். "இப் பெண்கள் எதிரே செல்லும்" என்று (யூஸுஃபிடம்) கூறினாள்; அப் பெண்கள் அவரைப் பார்த்ததும் (அவரழகில் மயங்கி) அவரை மிக மேன்மையாகக் கண்டார்கள். (அவர் அழகில் மெய் மறந்து) தம் கைகளையும் வெட்டிக்கொண்டனர்; "அல்லாஹ்வே பெரியவன்; இவர் மனிதரே அல்லர்! இவர் மேன்மைக்குரிய ஒரு மலக்கேயன்றி வேறில்லை" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
