and failed has he who seduces it.
ஆனால் எவன் அதை(ப் பாவத்தில்) புகுத்தினானோ அவன் திட்டமாகத் தோல்வி அடைந்தான்.

has he chosen daughters above sons?
(அன்றியும், அல்லாஹ்) அவன் ஆண்மக்களை விட்டுப் பெண்மக்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துக் கொண்டானா?

or has he daughters while you have sons?
அல்லது, அவனுக்குப் பெண் மக்களும் உங்களுக்கு ஆண் மக்களுமா?

has he chosen daughters in preference to sons?
(அன்றியும், அல்லாஹ்) அவன் ஆண்மக்களை விட்டுப் பெண்மக்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துக் கொண்டானா?

has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees?
அவனிடம் மறைவானவை பற்றிய அறிவு இருந்து, அவன் பார்க்கிறானா?

your friend has not gone astray, nor has he erred.
உங்கள் தோழர் வழி கெட்டுவிடவுமில்லை, அவர் தவறான வழியில் செல்லவுமில்லை.

"freely has he bestowed on you cattle and sons,-
"இன்னும் தோட்டங்களையும், நீரூற்றுக்களையும் (கொண்டு உதவியளித்தான்).

has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of moses,
அல்லது, மூஸாவின் ஸுஹுஃபில் - வேதத்தில் இருப்பது அவனுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்படவில்லையா?

what! has he knowledge of the unseen so that he can see?
அவனிடம் மறைவானவை பற்றிய அறிவு இருந்து, அவன் பார்க்கிறானா?

or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of musa?
அல்லது, மூஸாவின் ஸுஹுஃபில் - வேதத்தில் இருப்பது அவனுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்படவில்லையா?

has he made the gods one single god? this is truly astounding.”
"இவர் (எல்லாத்) தெய்வங்களையும் ஒரே நாயனாக ஆக்கிவிட்டாரா? நிச்சயமாக இது ஓர் ஆச்சரியமான விஷயமே! (என்றும் கூறினர்).

no authority has he over those who believe and put their trust in their lord.
எவர்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டு தன் இறைவனை முற்றிலும் சார்ந்திருக்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் மீது நிச்சயமாக (ஷைத்தானுக்கு) எவ்வித அதிகாரமுமில்லை.

has he chosen daughters for himself from his creation, and selected only sons for you?
அல்லது, தான் படைத்ததிலிருந்து அவன் தனக்கென பெண்மக்களை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு, உங்களுக்கு ஆண் மக்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து விட்டானா?

has he come to know the unseen, or taken a promise from the all-beneficent?
(பின்னர் நடக்கவிருக்கும்) மறைவான விஷயத்தை அவன் எட்டிப் பார்த்துத் தெரிந்து கொண்டானா அல்லது அர்ரஹ்மானிடத்திலிருந்து உறுதிமொழி (ஏதேனும்) பெற்றிருக்கிறானா?

has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the most beneficent (allah)?
(பின்னர் நடக்கவிருக்கும்) மறைவான விஷயத்தை அவன் எட்டிப் பார்த்துத் தெரிந்து கொண்டானா அல்லது அர்ரஹ்மானிடத்திலிருந்து உறுதிமொழி (ஏதேனும்) பெற்றிருக்கிறானா?

and the firmament has he raised high, and he has set up the balance (of justice),
மேலும், வானம் - அவனே அதை உயர்த்தித் தராசையும் ஏற்படுத்தினான்.
