if it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
ถ้าเป็นได้คือเรื่องที่ขึ้นอยู่กับท่าน จงอยู่อย่างสงบสุขกับทุกค

“ฮารูนพี่ชายของข้าพระองค์”

nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas.
และจะไม่เปิดโอกาสให้แก่พวกเขาเพื่อแก้ตัว

no nation can advance its time nor can it defer it.
ไม่มีประชาชาติใดจะร่าเริงกำหนดการลงโทษได้ และไม่อาจจะทำให้ล่าช้ากว่ากำหนดได้

no nation can outstrip its term, nor can it put it back.
ไม่มีประชาชาติใดที่จะได้รับการลงโทษก่อนกำหนดของมัน และก็จะไม่ล่าช้ากว่ากำหนดเช่นกัน

then shall it be said: this is what you gave the lie to.
แล้วจะมีเสียงกล่าวขึ้นว่า นี่คือสิ่งที่พวกเจ้าได้ปฏิเสธมันไว้

let it be known that we will turn all things on earth into dust.
และแท้จริง แน่นอนเราเป็นผู้ทำให้สิ่งที่อยู่บนพื้นดินเป็นผุยผงแห้งแล้ง

but made no reservation, ("if it be allah's will").
และพวกเขามิได้กล่าวคำว่า “อินชาอัลลอฮฺ”

but how will it be when the angels cause them to die smiting their backs.
แล้ว(สภาพของพวกเขา) จะเป็นเช่นไร เมื่อมะลาอิกะฮ.มาเอาชีวิตของพวกเขาโดยตีใบหน้าของพวกเขาและหลังของพวกเขา

so shall it be, and we shall wed them to black-eyed houris.
เช่นนั้นแหละ และเราจะให้พวกเขามีคู่ครองเป็นหญิงสาววัยรุ่นมีดวงตาสวยงาม

"why bringest thou not angels to us if it be that thou hast the truth?"
“ทำไมท่านไม่นำมะลาอิกะฮ์มาที่เรา หากท่านอยู่ในหมู่ผู้สัตย์จริง”

and ye shall not will unless it be that allah, the lord of the worlds, willeth.
และพวกเจ้าจะไม่สมประสงค์สิ่งใดเว้นแต่อัลลอฮฺพระเจ้าแห่งสากลโลกจะทรงประสงค์

his command, when he intends anything, is only to say to it: be, so it is.
แท้จริงพระบัญชาของพระองค์ เมื่อทรงประสงค์สิ่งใด พระองค์ก็จะตรัสแก่มันว่า “จงเป็น” แล้วมันก็จะเป็นขึ้นมา

and ye will not, unless (it be) that allah willeth, the lord of creation.
และพวกเจ้าจะไม่สมประสงค์สิ่งใดเว้นแต่อัลลอฮฺพระเจ้าแห่งสากลโลกจะทรงประสงค์

all his command, when he wills something, is to say to it ‘be,’ and it is.
แท้จริงพระบัญชาของพระองค์ เมื่อทรงประสงค์สิ่งใด พระองค์ก็จะตรัสแก่มันว่า “จงเป็น” แล้วมันก็จะเป็นขึ้นมา

all that we say to a thing, when we will it, is to say to it ‘be!’ and it is.
แท้จริงเมื่อเราปรารถนาคำตรัสของเราแก่สิ่งใด เราก็จะกล่าวแก่มันว่า “จงเป็น” แล้วมันก็เป็นขึ้น

and our word unto a thing, when we intend it, is only that we say unto it: be! and it is.
แท้จริงเมื่อเราปรารถนาคำตรัสของเราแก่สิ่งใด เราก็จะกล่าวแก่มันว่า “จงเป็น” แล้วมันก็เป็นขึ้น

but how will it be [with them] when the angels take them away, striking their faces and their backs?!
แล้ว(สภาพของพวกเขา) จะเป็นเช่นไร เมื่อมะลาอิกะฮ.มาเอาชีวิตของพวกเขาโดยตีใบหน้าของพวกเขาและหลังของพวกเขา

and his only task when he intends a thing is to command it, “be” – and it thereupon happens!
แท้จริงพระบัญชาของพระองค์ เมื่อทรงประสงค์สิ่งใด พระองค์ก็จะตรัสแก่มันว่า “จงเป็น” แล้วมันก็จะเป็นขึ้นมา

verily! our word unto a thing when we intend it, is only that we say unto it: "be!" and it is.
แท้จริงเมื่อเราปรารถนาคำตรัสของเราแก่สิ่งใด เราก็จะกล่าวแก่มันว่า “จงเป็น” แล้วมันก็เป็นขึ้น
