ถ้าเจ้าทั้งหลายยังไม่เชื่อฟังเราเพราะสิ่งทั้งปวงเหล่านี้ เราจึงจะลงโทษเจ้าทั้งหลายให้ทวีขึ้นอีกเจ็ดเท่าเพราะการบาปของเจ้

believers, shall i show you a bargain which will save you from the painful torment?
โอ้บรรดาผู้ศรัทธาเอ๋ย ข้าจะชี้แนะแนวทางแก่พวกเจ้าไหมเล่า ถึงการค้าที่จะช่วยพวกเจ้าให้พ้นจากการลงโทษอันเจ็บปวด

and if we show you something of what we threaten them with, or cause you to die, yet to us is their return, and allah is the bearer of witness to what they do.
และบางทีเราจะให้เจ้าได้เห็นบางส่วน(ของการลงโทษ) ซึ่งเราสัญญาแก่พวกเขา หรือเราจะให้เจ้าตายเสียก่อนดังนั้น ทางกลับของพวกเขาย่อมไปหาเรา แล้วอัลลอฮ์ทรงเป็นพยานต่อสิ่งที่พวกเขากระทำ

o ye who believe! shall i show you a commerce that will save you from a painful doom?
โอ้บรรดาผู้ศรัทธาเอ๋ย ข้าจะชี้แนะแนวทางแก่พวกเจ้าไหมเล่า ถึงการค้าที่จะช่วยพวกเจ้าให้พ้นจากการลงโทษอันเจ็บปวด

o people who believe! shall i show you a trade that can save you from the painful punishment?
โอ้บรรดาผู้ศรัทธาเอ๋ย ข้าจะชี้แนะแนวทางแก่พวกเจ้าไหมเล่า ถึงการค้าที่จะช่วยพวกเจ้าให้พ้นจากการลงโทษอันเจ็บปวด

therefore have patience, the promise of allah is true. whether we show you something of that we promise them or call you to us, to us they shall all return.
ดังนั้นเจ้าจงอดทน แท้จริงสัญญาของอัลลอฮฺนั้นเป็นจริง บางทีเราจะให้เจ้าได้เห็นบางสิ่งที่ได้สัญญาแก่พวกเขา หรือเราจะทำให้เจ้าตายเสียก่อน ดังนั้นพวกเขาจะถูกกลับไปยังเรา

and we had before forbidden foster-mothers for him, so she said: shall i show you a household who will rear him for you and take care of him?
และเราได้ห้ามเขาไว้ก่อนแล้วเรื่องแม่นม ดังนั้นเธอ (พี่สาวของมูซา) กล่าวว่า “ฉันจะชี้แนะชาวบ้านให้แก่พวกท่านเอาไหม?เพื่อคุ้มครองเขาแทนพวกท่าน และพวกเขาเป็นผู้ให้คำแนะนำอย่างดี”

whether we show you something of what we have promised them or cause you to die [before that], to us they shall return. god is witness to all that they do.
และบางทีเราจะให้เจ้าได้เห็นบางส่วน(ของการลงโทษ) ซึ่งเราสัญญาแก่พวกเขา หรือเราจะให้เจ้าตายเสียก่อนดังนั้น ทางกลับของพวกเขาย่อมไปหาเรา แล้วอัลลอฮ์ทรงเป็นพยานต่อสิ่งที่พวกเขากระทำ

so the devil incited him, saying, “o adam, shall i show you the tree of immortality and a kingdom that does not erode?”
ต่อมาชัยฏอนมารร้ายได้กระซิบกระซาบเขา มันกล่าวว่า “อาดัมเอ๋ย ฉันจะชี้แนะแก่ท่านไปยังต้นไม้ที่อยู่เป็นนิจตลอดกาลและการมีอำนาจที่ไม่สูญสลายเอาไหม?”

but satan whispered to him. he said, “o adam, shall i show you the tree of immortality, and a kingdom that never decays?”
ต่อมาชัยฏอนมารร้ายได้กระซิบกระซาบเขา มันกล่าวว่า “อาดัมเอ๋ย ฉันจะชี้แนะแก่ท่านไปยังต้นไม้ที่อยู่เป็นนิจตลอดกาลและการมีอำนาจที่ไม่สูญสลายเอาไหม?”

man is a creature of haste: soon (enough) will i show you my signs; then ye will not ask me to hasten them!
มนุษย์ถูกสร้างขึ้นมาด้วยความรีบร้อน ข้าจะแสดงสัญญาณต่าง ๆ ของข้าให้พวกเจ้าเห็น ฉะนั้นพวกเจ้าอย่าได้เร่งข้าเลย

and we had already forbidden suckle-nurses for him, so she said, “shall i show you a household that will nurse this child of yours, and they are his well-wishers?”
และเราได้ห้ามเขาไว้ก่อนแล้วเรื่องแม่นม ดังนั้นเธอ (พี่สาวของมูซา) กล่าวว่า “ฉันจะชี้แนะชาวบ้านให้แก่พวกท่านเอาไหม?เพื่อคุ้มครองเขาแทนพวกท่าน และพวกเขาเป็นผู้ให้คำแนะนำอย่างดี”

he said, 'my lord, prison is dearer to me than that they call me to; yet if thou turnest not from me their guile, then i shall yearn towards them, and so become one of the ignorant.'
เขากล่าวว่า “โอ้ ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ คุกนั้นเป็นที่รักยิ่งแก่ข้าพระองค์กว่าสิ่งที่พวกนางเรียกร้องข้าพระองค์ไปสู่มัน และหากพระองค์มิทรงให้อุบายของพวกนางพ้นไปจากข้าพระองค์แล้ว ข้าพระองค์อาจจะโน้มเอียงไปหาพวกนาง และข้าพระองค์จะเป็นคนหนึ่งในหมู่ผู้โง่เขลา”

my people, today you have the kingdom and the power on earth but who will help us against the wrath of god if it will befall us?" the pharaoh said, "i show you only what i think is proper and guide you only to the right direction".
โอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ย! วันนี้อำนาจการปกครองเป็นของพวกท่าน เป็นผู้อยู่เบื้องบนในแผ่นดิน (อียิปต์) แล้วใครเล่าจะช่วยเหลือเราจากการลงโทษของอัลลอฮฺ หากมันได้เกิดขึ้นแก่เรา ฟิรเอานฺ กล่าวว่า ฉันมิได้ชี้นำพวกท่านเว้นแต่สิ่งที่ฉันเห็นว่ามันถูกต้อง เท่านั้นและฉันมิได้ชี้แนะทางแก่พวกท่านเว้นแต่ทางที่เป็นสัจธรรมเท่านั้น

now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the lord spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the lord will be with me, then i shall be able to drive them out, as the lord said.
ฉะนั้นบัดนี้ขอมอบแดนเทือกเขานี้ ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสในวันนั้นให้แก่ข้าพเจ้า เพราะท่านได้ยินในวันนั้นแล้วว่าคนอานาคอยู่ที่นั่น มีหัวเมืองใหญ่ที่มีกำแพงล้อมอย่างเข้มแข็ง ชะรอยพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงสถิตกับข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าก็จะขับไล่เขาออกไปได้ ดังที่พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสไว้แล้ว

"behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall i show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' so we brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. then thou didst slay a man, but we saved thee from trouble, and we tried thee in various ways. then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of midian. then didst thou come hither as ordained, o moses!
เมื่อพี่สาวของเจ้าเดินไป เธอได้พูด(กับพวกนั้น)ว่า ฉันจะชี้แนะผู้ที่เลี้ยงดูเขาแก่พวกท่านไหม? แล้วเราให้เจ้ากับไปหามารดาของเจ้า เพื่อที่จะได้เป็นที่รื่นรมณ์แก่สายตาของนางและไม่เศร้าโศกและเจ้าได้ฆ่าชายคนหนึ่ง แล้วเราได้ช่วยเจ้าให้พ้นจากความหนักใจ และเราได้ทดสอบเจ้าด้วยการทดสอบนานาชนิด แล้วเจ้าได้พำนักอยู่กับชาวมัดยันเป็นเวลาหลายปี ภายหลังเจ้าได้กลับมาตามกำหนด โอ้ มูซาเอ๋ย !
