for both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have i found their wickedness, saith the lord.
ngokuba umprofeti kwanombingeleli ngabenzi bobubi; ndizifumene nasendlwini yam izinto zabo ezimbi; utsho uyehova.

and abram said, behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
wathi uabram, yabona, akundinikanga mbewu; yabona, umntu ongowendlu yam uya kuba yindlamafa yam.

and the lord said unto the servant, go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
yathi inkosi kumkhonzi lowo, phuma uye ezindleleni, nasezintangweni, ubanyanzele bangene, ukuze indlu yam izale.

and another also said, lord, i will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.
wathi ke nomnye, ndiya kukulandela, nkosi; kodwa ndivumele kuqala, khe ndiye kubulisa abo basendlwini yam.

and abram said, lord god, what wilt thou give me, seeing i go childless, and the steward of my house is this eliezer of damascus?
wathi uabram, nkosi yam, yehova, wondinika ntoni na? ndihamba ndingenamntwana; indlamafa yendlu yam ngulo eliyezere wasedamasko.

but also thou shalt not cut off thy kindness from my house for ever: no, not when the lord hath cut off the enemies of david every one from the face of the earth.
ungathi, ndakufa, uyinqumle inceba yakho endlwini yam nanini, ungenjenjalo nasekuzinqamleni kukayehova iintshaba zikadavide zonke ngazinye, ebusweni bomhlaba.

and he said unto me, solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for i have chosen him to be my son, and i will be his father.
wathi kum, usolomon, unyana wakho, nguye oya kwakha indlu yam neentendelezo zam; ngokuba ndizinyulele yena ukuba abe ngunyana kum, ndibe nguyise kuye mna;

and he taught, saying unto them, is it not written, my house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
wayefundisa, esithi kubo, akubhaliwe na kwathiwa, indlu yam iya kubizwa ngokuba yindlu yokuthandaza iintlanga zonke? ke nina niyenze umqolomba wezihange.

and cornelius said, four days ago i was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour i prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

even them will i bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
ndobazisa entabeni yam engcwele, ndibavuyise endlwini yam yokuthandaza; amadini abo anyukayo nemibingelelo yabo yokholiseka esibingelelweni sam; kuba indlu yam kuya kuthiwa yindlu yokuthandaza ezizweni zonke.

although my house be not so with god; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow.
kuba ayinjalo yini na indlu yam kuthixo? kuba undenzele umnqophiso ongunaphakade, walungiswa ngeento zonke, wagcinwa; kuba ukusindiswa kwam konke, nokunqwena kwam konke, akayi kukuhlumisa yini na?

and ahab spake unto naboth, saying, give me thy vineyard, that i may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and i will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, i will give thee the worth of it in money.
wathetha uahabhi kunabhoti, wathi, ndinike isidiliya sakho, ukuba sibe ngumyezo wemifuno; ngokuba sisondelelene nendlu yam; ndokunika isidiliya esilungileyo kuneso esikhundleni saso; ke ukuba kuthe kwalunga emehlweni akho, ndokunika imali esilingeneyo.
