the council approved on 19 december the text of a letter to be sent at the beginning of january by the council and the commission to the prime minister of guineabissau, inviting guineabissau to consultations to examine the situation in the country following the coup d'état in september.
Το Συμβούλιο ενέκρινε, στις 19 Δεκεμβρίου, το κείμενο επιστολής που θα αποσταλεί στις αρχές Ιανουαρίου από το Συμβούλιο και την Επιτροπή προς τον Πρωθυπουργό της Γουινέας-Μπισάου, με την οποία θα καλείται η Γουινέα-Μπισάου να συμμετάσχει σε διαβουλεύσεις για την εξέταση της κατάστασης στη χώρα μετά από το πραξικόπημα του Σεπτεμβρίου.

i believe that, taken as a whole, these four protocols will be highly advantageous to both the european union and the third countries concerned, both because of the general increase in fishing possibilities and the contributions from the community budget to initiatives such as the development of small-scale fishing- especially in the protocols with guineabissau and equatorial guinea- and because of the monitoring mechanisms established for those third countries.
Πιστεύω πως αυτά τα τέσσερα πρωτόκολλα, αν ληφθούν υπόψη στο σύνολό τους, είναι πολύ θετικά, τόσο για την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση όσο και για τις τρίτες χώρες, τόσο λόγω της γενικής αύξησης των δυνατοτήτων αλιείας όσο και για τις συνεισφορές του κοινοτικού προϋπολογισμού σε τομείς όπως η ανάπτυξη της αλιείας μικρής κλίμακας, κυρίως τα πρωτόκολλα με τις δύο Γουϊνέες, και λόγω της επίβλεψης των τρίτων χωρών που ορίζουν.
