as i was preparing this message, i asked myself, "how could israel do such a thing, after all god did for them - after receiving all his benefits and being so near to him?" then i thought of all my drifting friends and acquaintances - those i once knew who are now backslidden, floating swiftly down the river away from christ. i thought, "how could anyone do that? how could they be so blessed of god, and drift away from him?"
mentre preparavo questo messaggio, mi sono chiesto : "come ha potuto israele commettere questo, dopo tutto ciò che dio ha fatto per loro, dopo aver ricevuto tutte le sue benedizioni ed essere stati a lui così vicino?".
