a suggellare la visita alla mostra le fotografie inedite del regista luganese edo bertoglio alcune delle quali scattate durante le riprese del film new york beat, ribattezzato in seguito downtown 81, in cui basquiat interpretò se stesso nel ruolo principale di un'artista ancora sconosciuto nella downtown newyorkese di inizio anni ottanta.
completing the visit to the exhibition were original photographs by the lugano director edo bertoglio, some of which were taken during the shooting of the film new york beat, later renamed downtown 81, in which basquiat played himself in the principal role of an as yet unknown artist in new york’s downtown at the beginning of the eighties.
