The Crop to Selection command crops only the active layer to the boundary of the selection by removing any strips at the edge whose contents are all completely unselected. Areas which are partially selected (for example, by feathering) are not cropped. If there is no selection for the image, the menu entry is insensitive and grayed out.

For å beskjere eit bilete klikkar du på beskjeringsverktøyet i verktøykassa, eller trykker stor C medan du er innføre biletet. Når du nå klikkar og dreg innføre biletet, vil du sjå eit rektangel som viser kva som blir att og kva som blir skore vekk. Du kan utvida og krympa rektangelet ved å ta tak i firkantane i hjørna. To crop an image, activate the Crop tool in the Toolbox, or by pressing the C key (capitalized) while inside the image. With the tool active, clicking and dragging in the image will sweep out a crop rectangle. It will also pop up a dialog that allows you to adjust the dimensions of the crop region if they aren't quite right. When everything is perfect, hit the Crop button in the dialog.
