ஹூர் (என்னும் அக்கன்னியர் அழகிய) கூடாரங்களில் மறைக்கப்பட்டிருப்பர்.

and there will be with them maidens of restrained glances, of a like age.
அவர்களுடன் கீழ்நோக்கிய பார்வையும், ஒரே வயதுமுடைய அமர கன்னிகைகளும் இருப்பார்கள்.

and as for him who dreaded standing before his lord, and restrained his soul from lust,
எவன் தன் இறைவன் முன் நிற்பதை அஞ்சி மனதையும் இச்சைகளை விட்டு விலக்கிக் கொண்டானோ,

and with them will be maidens, of restrained glances with big [beautiful] eyes,
இன்னும், அவர்களிடத்தில் அடக்கமான பார்வையும், நெடிய கண்களும் கொண்ட (அமர கன்னியரும்) இருப்பார்கள்.

in them are maidens of restrained glances, whom no human has touched before, nor jinn.
அவற்றில் அடக்கமான பார்வையுடைய (அமர) கன்னியர் இருக்கின்றனர். அவர்களை இவர்களுக்கு முன்னர் எந்த மனிதனும், எந்த ஜின்னும் தீண்டியதில்லை.

companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;-
ஹூர் (என்னும் அக்கன்னியர் அழகிய) கூடாரங்களில் மறைக்கப்பட்டிருப்பர்.

however, those who had feared their lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires.
எவன் தன் இறைவன் முன் நிற்பதை அஞ்சி மனதையும் இச்சைகளை விட்டு விலக்கிக் கொண்டானோ,

but as for him who feared standing before his lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts.
எவன் தன் இறைவன் முன் நிற்பதை அஞ்சி மனதையும் இச்சைகளை விட்டு விலக்கிக் கொண்டானோ,

and of the devils were some that dived for him, and performed other, lesser tasks. but we kept them restrained.

and on the day when the enemies of allah are herded towards the fire, the earlier groups will be restrained till the latter join them.
மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வின் பகைவர்கள் (நரகத்)தீயின் பால் ஒன்று திரட்டப்படும் நாளில், அவர்கள் (தனித் தனியாகப்) பிரிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

in the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before.
அவற்றில் அடக்கமான பார்வையுடைய (அமர) கன்னியர் இருக்கின்றனர். அவர்களை இவர்களுக்கு முன்னர் எந்த மனிதனும், எந்த ஜின்னும் தீண்டியதில்லை.

to each--these and those--we extend of the bestowment of thy lord; and the bestowment of thy lord is never restrained.
இ(ம்மையை விரும்புப)வர்களுக்கும், (மறுமையை ஆசிக்கும்) மற்றவர்களுக்கும் உமது இறைவனாகிய நமது அருட்கொடையிலிருந்து நாமே உதவி செய்கிறோம்; உமது இறைவனின் அருட்கொடை (எவருக்கும்) தடுக்கப்பட்டதாக இல்லை.

allah has promised that you take many spoils. he has hastened this to you, and restrained the hands of people from you so that he makes it a sign to the believers and to guide you on a straight path.
ஏராளமான போர்ப் பொருள்களை அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு வாக்களிக்கிறான்; அவற்றை நீங்கள் கைப்பற்றுவீர்கள்; இதை உங்களுக்கு, துரிதமாக அளித்து, கொடுத்து மனிதர்களின் கைகளையும் உங்களை விட்டும் தடுத்துக் கொண்டான். (இதை) முஃமின்களுக்கு ஓர் அத்தாட்சியாக இருப்பதற்காகவும், உங்களை நேர்வழியில் செலுத்துவதற்காகவும் (இவ்வாறு அருள் புரிந்தான்).

and among the devils, were those who dived (in water) for him and did works other than this; and we had kept them restrained.
இன்னும், ஷைத்தான்களிலிருந்தும் அவருக்காகக் (கடலில்) மூழ்கி வரக் கூடியவர்களை (நாம் வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தோம்; இது தவிர) மற்றி வேலைகளையும் (அந்த ஷைத்தான்கள்) செய்யும்; அன்றியும் நாமே அவற்றைக் கண்காணித்து வந்தோம்.

and he it is who restrained their hands from you and your hands from them, in the vale of makka so, after he had made you superior to them; and allah is of that which ye work ever a beholder.
இன்னும், அவன்தான் உங்களுக்கு அவர்கள் மீது வெற்றி அளித்த பிறகு, மக்காவினுள் அவர்களுடைய கைகளை உங்களை விட்டும், உங்கள் கைகளை அவர்களை விட்டும் தடுத்துக் கொண்டான். அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றையெல்லாம் நன்கு பார்ப்பவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

allah has promised you abundant spoils that you will capture, and he has hastened for you this, and he has restrained the hands of men from you, that it may be a sign for the believers, and that he may guide you to a straight path.
ஏராளமான போர்ப் பொருள்களை அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு வாக்களிக்கிறான்; அவற்றை நீங்கள் கைப்பற்றுவீர்கள்; இதை உங்களுக்கு, துரிதமாக அளித்து, கொடுத்து மனிதர்களின் கைகளையும் உங்களை விட்டும் தடுத்துக் கொண்டான். (இதை) முஃமின்களுக்கு ஓர் அத்தாட்சியாக இருப்பதற்காகவும், உங்களை நேர்வழியில் செலுத்துவதற்காகவும் (இவ்வாறு அருள் புரிந்தான்).

and for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires,
எவன் தன் இறைவன் முன் நிற்பதை அஞ்சி மனதையும் இச்சைகளை விட்டு விலக்கிக் கொண்டானோ,

(charity is) for the poor who are restrained in the way of allah, and are unable to journey in the land. the ignorant take them to be rich because of their abstinence. but you can recognize them by their signs. they do not persistently beg people. whatever good you give is known to allah.
பூமியில் நடமாடித்(தம் வாழ்க்கைத் தேவைகளை நிறைவேற்ற) எதுவும் செய்ய முடியாத அளவுக்கு அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் தங்களை அர்ப்பணித்துக் கொண்டவர்களுக்குத் தான் (உங்களுடைய தான தர்மங்கள்) உரியவையாகும். (பிறரிடம் யாசிக்காத) அவர்களுடைய பேணுதலைக் கண்டு, அறியாதவன் அவர்களைச் செல்வந்தர்கள் என்று எண்ணிக் கொள்கிறான்;. அவர்களுடைய அடையாளங்களால் அவர்களை நீர் அறிந்து கொள்ளலாம். அவர்கள் மனிதர்களிடம் வருந்தி எதையும் கேட்கமாட்டார்கள்; (இத்தகையோருக்காக) நல்லதினின்று நீங்கள் எதைச் செலவு செய்தாலும், அதை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிவான்.
