we spent two wonderful days in this beautiful structure, guests of the gracious lady juliana, who not only cooked us some great cakes at breakfast, but recommended some great restaurants serving cuisine from umbria and alternate routes through the hills, enabling us to admire the view on our way to visit assisi and bevagna-a far cry from the freeway, faster but less "poetic".
